  1. First point - clubs from the Championship and League One are a hell of a lot stronger than Queen of the South. Second point - if we can't beat Queen of the South with 3 or 4 of our best youngsters in the side, then there is something seriously wrong with our youth development.
  2. I wish Walter would stop playing full-strength sides in games like these. Games like these are priceless opportunities for 3 or 4 younger guys to come in and gain some top team experience - U-21 football doesn't come close to a senior cup tie and if guys like Little are good enough to play international football now then they're good enough for Palmerston FFS.
  3. I thought Pompey were supposed to be broke anyway? Or did that takeover go through?
  4. Personally, if this is true then it would be fucking catastrophic. I hope they're ready for an epic backlash. Then again, this is Talksport we're talking about here
  5. Good to know. I always got that impression from Boyd. The concerning thing for us however, is that Hutton was of the same mould and was all but driven down to North London at gunpoint.
  6. Motherwell v Inverness Hearts v Dunfermline Dundee v Aberdeen Hibs v St Johnstone Falkirk v Celtic Kilmarnock v St Mirren Queen of the South v Rangers Ross County v Dundee United
  7. Diving bastard.
  8. But it does mean that he won't get a game for us until we have a new manager.
  9. Off-topic, but I reckon Boyd leaving could see some serious revolt. The board probably think it's worth it. The guy evidently wants to stay and the fans know it. Then again, we lost our "Murray Out" card last week...
  10. Not sure if it was a mistake, given that even when he was fit last season, Walter played McCulloch at the back rather than turn to Webster. Is Mark Reynolds a CB? Wouldn't be surprised if we went back in for him as cover.
  11. Just heard that, one of a number of CBs they're looking at apparently. Feck off O'Neill ya leprachaun bheast.
  12. SSN confirm Rothen is to sign. In other news, Beasley to Olympiakos is off because the Greek transfer window has closed apparently? Now if we can sign a centre-half today, whether for the starting XI or cover, then I really fancy our chances of the title again.
  13. Chap called Rothen apparently. Ex-Monaco?
  14. The one positive of this latest SFA shambles is that the whole of the UK can now see Scottish football for the agenda-driven, bheast-run circus it has been for too long. Ra Sellik were shown up in this country for the despicable, tainted organisation they are when they postponed an Old Firm game when they had injuries and suspensions to key players after the death of a previously unpopular bit-part player from the 1990s, yet played on after Tommy "Mr Celtic" Burns' death because "it's what Tommy would've pyoor wanted". Now the rest of Britain sees them for the hypocritical lowlifes they are. Which is nice.
  15. Boyd goes and the title follows, simple as that. Bain said last week that a balance has to be struck between reducing the debt and maintaining a winning team. Whether or not Boyd is forced out a la Hutton will be an acid test of this statement.
  16. Did Hendry not say something like "it was a dive, but I wouldn't call him a cheat"? So he admitted it was a dive, and diving is cheating, but he's not a cheat? I'm confused. Much as I admired Hendry as a player, that is terrible punditry.
  17. You're not slow are you? Still a yes from me and most likely still a yes from MF.
  18. Only missed one game through suspension during his time at Ibrox (Motherwell a - 30 July 2006) Has only missed 5 games through injury - all in the period 9/12/06 to 27/12/06 incl. Terrific stats IMO. Nothing better than a goalscorer who is never injured (or suspended), reminds me of McCoist before his leg break.
  19. The reaction to McGeady's cheating yesterday sums up the difference between us and them. When Lafferty went down like a sack of spuds against Aberdeen we were to a man completely embarrassed by it and unanimously condemned Lafferty for his actions. If last night's fan phone-ins and comments from players (Caldwell & Samaras) and pundits (Murdo MacLeod) are anything to go by then the bheasts are going to fight to the last to keep this one swept under the carpet. They are not normal people.
  20. I believe you may be right. It's as if the club realises this could be our last season in the CL for quite a while and has decided to cash in while they can with ludicrous prices.
  21. I wonder if sell-outs are inevitable at those prices. I've already heard of one or two who aren't going because of the cost. £111 for three games? £37 to see a Romanian team nobody's heard of with players nobody's heard of? :admin:
  22. Aye that's some week, couple of days in the sun for the Bears, in between pumping the scum and the mini-scum.
  23. Can't argue with any of that, particularly the last sentence. The English are now getting a taste of what happens when you dare to play the bheasts off the park. They've no idea we have to deal with this shit every season. Having the Eduardo dive shown 6 times (six) on the national news 3 days after the game is a total embarrassment. I'm reasonably sure I can remember somebody diving in a game before, coincidentally in green and grey hoops. As for their involvement in the UEFA Potato Shield, they'll be "robbed" and "cheated" when they get knocked out, and the inevitable trouble their fans cause wherever they go will get swept under the Scottish mhedia's Everest-shaped carpet.
  24. Joke prices.
  25. Topping the group is just fantasy talk IMHO. 7 points will be a successful campaign.
