Am I alone in not understanding this. "for the current season ticket renewal process it will proceed with direct payment only to the Club by way of bank transfer, cash or cheque payment" which suits me as I am on auto bank transfer; but then " Any supporters who are on the automatic renewal scheme will not have their tickets renewed automatically and will also require to renew their seats individually!" So am I to read this literally that I can renew in the same as I have done by paying direct but I am going to have to apply again? Why? On a second point, apart from the hassle, this would seem to suit those who were complaining that by delaying they were being forced on to the more expensive CC scheme; they'll be happy they can now pay the Club direct hopefully still for a one off £10 charge.

Sorry I was rewording the post for clarity and now made exactly the point you make above! "Penny shares" are shares valued or priced at around 1p in the market; as distinct from shares of 1p each (as in Rangers case) currently valued at 21/22p. I think I did a piece on this subject some time back. But agreed, if I was an institution and believed that the Board could deliver on their plan; I'd be a buyer at this price and would certainly take up my rights on a new offer.

Sorry, rbr but it isn't. Don't fall into the "penny share" trap. A 1% rise in the share price is a 1% rise in the share price regardless of the starting point. Of course, 1p on 24p is a higher percentage than 1p on 45p; and if that's what you mean then obviously you are correct. But if you mean that it is more likely for 1p or 24p shares to double in value than shares at 45p; that may be the case if the former are less mature companies than the latter. For example the chances of BP doubling in value are remote compared with say a new start up technology company. BUT and it's a big BUT, "penny shares" or those close to that level most likely are at that price for a reason e.g. the stock market does not value the company very highly, which means that there is as much chance or possibly even more chance of the price of a 1p share going down to 1/2p or 24p going down to 12p as there is of it doubling. That said, I think Rangers are a BUY at around this level but don't invest any money you can't afford to lose!

Obviously there will be a silence or possibly a minutes clapping for Sandy Jardine at the match on Saturday; but I am sure that everyone at the dinner will want to toast his memory. -

I am not sure that you are correct about the contingent liability. Emphasis of matter - Uncertain outcome of potential litigation In arriving at our review conclusion, which is not qualified, we have considered the adequacy of the disclosures made in note 15 to the condensed set of financial statements concerning the uncertain outcome of the potential litigation following the receipt of two letters before claim from legal advisors to Craig Whyte and Aidan Earley. The Company commissioned an independent investigation ('the Investigation') to investigate the first letter before claim, which was concluded on 17 May 2013. On 30 May 2013 following the receipt of a second letter before claim, the Company announced that the Investigation had been concluded. The Company is satisfied that a thorough investigation was conducted despite the inherent limitations of a private enquiry, and considers that the claims have no legal merit. The Company has also engaged Allen & Ovary to defend against these potential claims, and the Company has had no communications with Messrs Whyte and Earley or their legal advisors since 30 May 2013. The ultimate outcome of this matter cannot currently be determined, and accordingly no adjustments have been made to the financial statements as a result of this matter. If there was a contingent liability would there not be an adjustment in the accounts? There is a difference between a contingent liability and the assets being encumbered (if that is the correct expression) by the potential claim. Also one would assume that there must be some kind of time limit on this kind of thing in accounting terms if not from a legal perspective. The accountants might argue that unless the letter(s) is withdrawn or somehow countered legally then they will have to continue adding such notes to the accounts; but the longer the absence of any further communication persists, the less likliehood of any court action one might assume. -
We will toast him at the dinner on Saturday.

The word legend is frequently misused in football generally and oftentimes at our Club; but Sandy Jardine was indeed a true legend. Who can imagine someone playing 800 games for one Club in the "modern" era. An irreplaceable loss to our family. RIP Sandy

The First Annual Gersnet Dinner (The Bears Picnic)

We're not really starting till 3.30pm and the tapas are timed for 4.00pm. The film crew have also put back to 4.00pm and it's on till 7.00pm. I need all the support I can get, you'd be more than welcome. -
I would strongly suspect that's correct; although not exactly sure where he stands as he's not a director of the plc but was obviously privy to sensitive information. Probably been told to zip it for tomorrow.

I am sorry but you have lost me completely. I said that I bow to your inside knowledge of these matters, accept that or not it's up to you. I wasn't "fishing", I was just stating my opinion; I don't understand what is meant by "trolling"; "baiting, smearing" whom exactly? Why would I be "smearing" these men, suggesting they might be part of Mr King's new company? I am sure that he would select none but the best. I partake of a few things that I enjoy including dark chocolate and courvoisier; but no, I don't often indulge in conjecture.

"Insinuating" - what was it exactly that I was instilling doubt about? Surely those three fine men would add a great deal to the Board of Ibrox 1872 Ltd? I stated my opinion about who else might be directors, I don't need to bet on it for it to be my opinion; a poster on another web site is taking odds against most of the current directors of Vicast Ltd and even Mr McColl.
