  1. The SKY deal doesn't need Green's signature, this was just another of his verbal mistakes. Rangers have no say on TV deals - the rights belong to the League not the individual clubs.
  2. No, it is to distance rangers from his remark...it was something he said as an individual, not something he said on behalf of the Club
  3. Brian McConville, Phil 3 names and the guy from Harper McLeod
  4. If Sevco 5088 did have a binding contract with D & P, their remedy is against D & P, for breach of contract.
  5. Goin has been awful sincew about Christmas 2011
  6. This is probably the start of a cull. Green and Co have been in a year, they know who they want and who they don't want. If they can find reasons to get rid of people cheaply they will use them, if they can't they will pay them off. They will want people who are able to take the club in the direction they want it to go.
  7. McInnes knows how to play Sandaza, McCoist doesn't. We signed a player who plays best in a particular system and play him in a completely different system. Not very clever.
  8. The real problem is not the Rangers Game, it is the fact that a lot of people use it as an excuse to drink to excess and then get violent. The true comparison would be other occasions when people in the West of Scotland tend to consume a lot of alcohol like Christmas and New Year and possibly holiday weekends.
  9. A boycott is something formal (in a sense) and organised, aimed at making a point or producing a change, people deciding they can't be bothered watching the same crap as last year and not going to away games isn't a boycott. I stopped going to away games years ago- I couldn't be bothered with the hassle, the time involved, the travelling, the over zealous stewarding and policing, the bile from the opposition support. That's not a boycott, its not aimed at making a point or achieving an aim, it's simply that I don't enjoy away games and so I don't go.
  10. how did they manage to play with a belt holding up their shorts (or knickers)must have been really uncomfortable.
  11. assuming of course they find some infractions of their rules
  12. I'm still cautious and won't relax until we see the full judgement. There might yet be a sting in the tail in the form of fines or other penalties.
  13. they may throw the SFL two 10 team divisions rather than one 18 team division, as a sweetener.
  14. They were also pretty irritating with all the toilet roll they were throwing on the pitch. It kept interrupting the game.
  15. Thanks for the clip - I missed the second goal as I was standing in the queue for a hot chocolate for my son - only his second time at Ibrox.
  16. I do wish the Club wouldn't comment, officially or unofficially on signings, until the player actually puts his name on the dotted line.
  17. It may be something or it may be nothing, we simply don't know. In business people often have very different ideas about how much is due for a piece of work. Winding Up Orders sound dramatic, but they are just another weapon that companies use when they have a dispute.
  18. Green is right in saying that the appeal is pointless - there is no money, the Old Co is in liquidation and even if HMRC win the appeal, they only gain a larger share of a very small pot of money. It may even cost them more money to pursue the case than they will get back.
  19. Barry Ferguson never came across as being a good communicator - surely that is one of the main qualities that a coach should have.
  20. I thought it was only the middle eight who had their points reset to zero. I am under the impression that the top eight keep their points as do the bottom eight.
  21. On the park, he's a good player, but his off the field problem's would worry me.
  22. Copies of the property and proprietorship sections of the Land Certificate were posted on this site a few days ago. The disclaimer by the surveyors is a standard one - they are not qualified to check title deeds - that's a soliciotrs job.
  23. The whole show us the title deeds thing was pretty strange - the Land Register of Scotland is a public register - anyone can access it in person or get their solicitor to have a look at it for them. A copy Land Certificate costs less than £5
