    Stevie Smith

If he gets a few games in the first team before the end of the season and it looks like everything is OK with his injury then it will be like a new player for next season, no point in rushing him back as has been said....
  2. every player has his price and the club thinks that's a good price for him. if the player and/or his family are happy here or don't fancy a move to london/spurs then it's up to him. it's not like we don't want him or have actively offered him to clubs have we? They came to us the board said yes, he said no, fans said thank fcuk.
  3. don't believe everything that's in the papers m8 :admin:
  4. sorry but i have to agree with Frankie KT has been outstanding this season, AH has been as well but it's close IMO...........
  5. KT for me, I thought he was outstanding again, SN again showed he has settled in well and gives us more options up front and more movement than we usually have. Him and burke are looking good together but can they keep it up, I hope so. The whole team played well IMO and it could easily have been won by a much bigger margin. I am not against giving the likes of Buffel a chance but he would not improve us just now IMO.
  6. how does a 70,000 stadium with 60,000 fans in it look half empty
  7. sorry to go back to this but this line is out of context surely. motherwell have had a good season so far but to say what you did here is plain silly. I know 'kind' things are always said when someone passes away but get real, to say motherwell will be capable of winning anything sounds silly, unless i've misread this as i have said this was all very sudden, tragic and sad but i don' think it will make me or anyone else? start giving or give more to the charity because he has died like this. I would say maybe most people give to charity because they believe in it, or maybe have lost a close one to this or that or have this health or other problem themselves. if it does make others give more then great but i don't think preaching like this helps any, just my opinion nothing else........i won't say any more on this as enough's been said already.
  8. cmon m8 it's only been 10 years
  9. well said, tragic event and so sad for his family and friends but as pete said happens to so many more that are never mentioned who fight for our country etc...the charity is a very worthy cause ........
  10. got to disagree with you both but that's just my opinion m8........ don't dislike him personnally (don't know him) but he ain't any better than what we have or need IMO......
  11. Adam by far the MOTM for me as well, McCulloch done nothing apart from score 2  goals, it's weird how people see the game differently....
  12. it's my opinion ffs what's your problem I will not accept him back again surely I can make my own mind up like you can, I didn't give a toss about Mojo as he never for us.
  13. Smith obviously likes him and they won't give a toss about what the fans think of players, just look at us trying to sign Hartley. Miller will be the first player ever for me I probably won't accept, never thought I'd say that but they way he acted in a green jersey after being with us was enough to put me off him for life. :uzi:
  14. Both can GTF IMO m8  Next time I see you at Ibrox I'll probably be shouting Millers name :fish:
  15. you can shove yer kenny miller up yer arse
  16. I think it's a message to the Rangers board/manager etc that the majority of the fans that pay to watch Rangers don't want him or like him much. Nothing against the guy personally but I would hate it if he came to Ibrox.
  17. it's all about opinions again here, he is a worker yes but skill not much, goal threat not much, CJD is much more than he will ever be and I'd rather see a youngster play before paying £2.2M for somone who has a dreadfull scoring rate IMO, naismith will score more goals than him once he settles IMO, really don't think we need another striker and other positions are far more important and we should use that money quoted elsewhere.
  18. as most of the ground sung today 'you can shove yer kenny miller up yer arse'

    4-5-1 Home

too late for some Barry, FF forum is a nightmare and I don't bother posting much anymore. It's everyone's fault blah blah blah, we didn't play well on the night simple enough for me, and Lyon did, some of their play and passing was superb to watch even if I hated it
  20. i agree with you Gribz we need a 'world class' midfielder to play alongside Thomson and give Barry a rest or at least put a message to him that he is not indispensable as he might think. Can we get world class players to play in the SPL anymore i doubt it
  21. no and nor would I  he gets paid to manage Rangers whether the fans like it or not, if he fails he will be out of a job.
  22. I agree here but not many about or we can't find them!! Buffel has had more than enough chances for me m8, how many years has been here and hardly done a thing, time to get rid of him and the other deadwood Klos done more than Buffel will ever do in his time at Rangers even if at the end he sat and took the money sitting in the stand. before he fell of his bike he was fit and able to play the manager picked the walrus over him. Would you walk away from a highly paid contract and lose millions and say it's because I love the company I'd say it's more down to wages in the EPL, most players there would be on 40k+ a week at least no way we could afford that even if we could the transfer fee. They can afford it mainly down to SKY TV we can't or won't down to our chairman. And most players would rather play in a better league (EPL) than come up here IMO. I agree it doesn't help the player or the team to keep playing players out of position all the time. I liked hutton pre his injury as well but he hardly got anytime to come back from the fans and the majority slated him for a while before he came good, our fans are bad judging players far too early. people moan when we don't have any Scottish players in the team and now we do they moan they are not good enough, I think they are and need time to settle. I think the likes of Thomson and Whittaker are good enough for Rangers and will go from strength to strength
  23. that's your opinion m8 no worries, I have also been brought up watching Rangers as mainly winners as I have been going to watch us just a bit longer than you but I can't say i'm only 28 !!! To me if you say a player like Buffel is a winner as I think you are as you seem to love the guy then I totally disagree and makes what you have said sound a bit silly, to me anyway. SW might not be the kind of player we were used to in the past (we usually bought the finished/nearly finished article), but due to our money problem or chairman not backing us as before we can't do that. You have to mind this is his first season with us and he is still quite young and has a lot to learn. How many players have our fans wrote off in the first season that have went on to do good for us or be legends? Hutton was one this time last year, now he is being quoted as a £10M+ player. I'm not saying SW will ever he as good but who knows but you need to give players a chance to step up at least. And IMO players who have had umpteen chances need to be shown the door as in the likes of Buffel.
  24. he didn't work hard enough for PLG, sounds familiar
