This is the reason I was never behind the BK's and had a deep mistrust of anyone who was so fervently for them.

I wonder how many pictures of the Queen are scattered about that suspended ceiling, there's many a picture of the Pope at Ibrox plastered behind walls and wedged up vents etc by "enemy" contractors on site.

Fans' meeting with Charles Green - Gersnet minutes

"The current court cases being raised by the administrators will be for the benefit of creditors only." Glad CG or anybody else isn't relying on monies from these actions, I doubt any of it will ever be found let alone returned. -
Emergency RFF meeting today at 5?

The bid was £8.5m to achieve a CVA (Plan A), putting in any more at this stage would only reduce the potential available to invest and use for working capital after the event. Plan B would be buying the assets of RFC PLC for £8.5m so again putting any more in would only give creditors more of a return in the event of liquidation. There may well be 20 investors but I'd bet most of them only want to part with the money post CVA/Newco. -
Green has got to do a bit of PR and try to talk up his consortium, it's the nature of these things and why he was put forward to front this stage of it. I've heard nothing so far that makes me sceptical about the legitimacy of the takeover, he's secured Whyte' s shares, he's faced the SFA and the issues there head on and he's met with fans groups. He's been honest about the prospect of a CVA and he's stuck with it even though the SFA have done their best to put a buyer off.

The fact that the appeal was rejected as quickly after the delegation met yesterday tells you all you need to know....there was no way in hell they were going to back down, it was decided before any appeal that they were going to uphold their made up sanctions. I really hope that people are starting to realise what we are actually up against...this is payback for all the perceived injustices that the oppressed victims have (in their own diseased minds) suffered. It's taken them 10 or more years but they've finally wrestled control of the game up here but they've done it. Question is what are we going to do about it? -
I've heard Joe Hart being labelled "The Best Goalkeeper In The World" lately and if that is the case then Shagger is in the top 5 easily. I know it's English arrogance about Joe Hart but we need to try and claim some of that for ourselves. Jelavic going down there and being immediately well thought of is proof that there is talent up here and McGregor falls into that bracket. If we get less than £7m for him it will be a travesty.

Top QC Richard Keen Leads Appeal

That would be funny if it wasn't so true..any decision or communications about the hearing will have to pass through the Lawell filter first just to make sure it's on message. -
All they can think about is Rangers on the day they get their #taintedtitle. Obsessed doesn't cover it.

It's not as simple as an EBT equalling a double contract though is it? Who's to say that any paperwork exists that says "you will not have to pay this back" or words to that effect? EBT's were in the accounts, were perfectly legitimate and fairly standard. It's the fact that we may have abused them to the point where we were paying more into them than in contractual wages.

This is why I don't understand the hysteria about Newco and the fervent belief that any one set of bidders is better placed to achieve a CVA than another. HMRC are the main reason we are where we are, they are the reason Murray sold to Whyte and the BTC is why Whyte never paid the PAYE or VAT after all what would be the point if you could never pay what was coming down the pipe? They've held out to see what will happen and now they know only now will they have to make a decision...agree a CVA or not. -
They had one scheme at least (for Juninho) but have apparently cancelled it and paid the tax liability back on it.
-
These two tweets by David Hillier earlier gave me a real sense of optimism for a CVA. The HMRC info plus the fact that Ticketus seem to be going after Whyte and have said today that they will no further dealings with RFC make it perfectly possible that a CVA can be agreed. David Hillier @DavidHillier Re: HMRC and CVA. I believe they will agree. Key is identity of new owner and whether they are committed to meeting CVA requirements. 1h David Hillier @DavidHillier HMRC CVA policy: when an insolvent firm has new owners, history of nonpayment is not important. New owners are what matters. Retweeted by Juan

It's down to the hierarchy that exists between different creditors I think, in a CVA the smaller fish are basically forced to accept the same ratio of recompense as the bigger ones. If it goes to liquidation and asset sale then the structure has to be apportioned again.

The points about the wording and tone of the SFA document being very sound-bite friendly is spot on. It's easy to see that it was written with the sole intention of diverting attention from the parts which deal in supposition and theory. The over complicated legalese is also I believe a tactic designed to prevent your average Bear from unpicking the flimsy fabric of the document. It seems the SFA are indulging in some clever public relations....I wonder where (or who) they picked that idea up from?
-
I'd pay his wages for a week just to see him set about Scott Brown.
-
I honestly think the SFA should be taken to court under restriction of trade laws and made to answer why there were no rules checks and balances in place yet they see fit to make up the rules as they go along. I think this will simmer on for a long long time.

“Kennedy wants to be a movie star and doesn’t want to be a chairman of the club. He thinks he’s Mel Gibson.” Does that make Paul Murray Simon Pegg?
