  1. What's he going on about regarding fans getting season tickets instead of shoes for their kids? He's getting enraged about stuff he's making up.
  2. Actually the expenditure on our playing staff and coaches is quite a key factor in why we are failing. We are wasting money on something with no future and no resale value. Our expenditure wouldn't be such an issue if we were building a side that had resale value. Only Wallace and Macleod are tangible assets in our team. And neither of them are currently worth that much. I will ignore your point about Man Utd's performance because I hope you are joking, given we are in one of the worst leagues in world football.
  3. Those bastards controlling our club are no part of us. We are a family enshrouded in glorious protestant ethics. They are thieves. Easdale is the impoverished man's DM, possibly the lower league's equivalent.
  4. I'm just asking a question. I'm sure the information is publicly available but have just not been able to verify. Do you not think given our perilous standing such questions should be posed? Surely we should be analysing all outgoings with a view to what other clubs are spending? I find it astounding how short sighted some of our support are. If we are spending more on our coaches than one of the biggest clubs in world football, serious questions need asked. I'm not sure why some people are afraid of analysis. It is absolutely imperative to examine all our expenditure based on the industry we find ourselves operating in. Ask more questions, please. Please just do not accept the dross we are served, you are worth more than that.
  5. Read that the equivalent of McDowall and Durrant at Man Utd are on less than here? Pray tell me this is not true?
  6. BH - For such an intelligent guy, you have some terrible views. Whilst I agree that the season ticket trust idea is ridiculous and will never come to fruition, you sound very much like the head in the sand crew that are happy to get their arses in the air ready and waiting. Long may the cycle continue? It's clear the current incumbents are useless. The time for change is now. I think we are bound to be screwed over until the end of time unless King steps up. He quite literally is the only bear on the face of this earth with the required collateral who gives a flying fuck about us.
  7. It's clear to all and sundry that the football under McCoist is reprehensively unwatchable. The irony is we aren't even good at the horrific direct style we adopt. They should create some rule to punish teams that make no effort to play football. It sickens me. At least Stoke and Wimbledon could argue they were up against better opposition. I am a football purist that watches pretty much every single game on Sky but I am not looking for total football. I am looking for watchable football. It's got to be said that Ally has learned everything from Walter. Walter went for the same approach but huge resources helped to mask it. PS - As much as I hate the board, we will never get anywhere when we have a dire manager in charge who has highly paid professionals treating the football like a rugby ball. Lets just get the ball played on the park, a scouting network and a proper youth development programme. Is it that complex? No but we always get it wrong.
  8. He's the skint man's Amoruso
  9. Anyone who watches our games knows that McCoist is not a manager. There is absolutely no point keeping him and we are just wasting time. It's not like Ally's some young manager that might suddenly get better, he's 51 and has been a coach for ages. He's not going to get any better. Ally is actually older than Jose Mourinho!
  10. Absolutely not a chance. Lennon is no Jose Mourinho but he's far better than McCoist, plus they have way more resources than us
  11. Edit - I made that an unnecessary point about the board. No, I don't!
  12. Have I any chance of getting a ticket? Can anyone PM me? Need two tickets btw
  13. Oh with bells on. An insidious, cantankerous cunt well worth following the line of great chancers of Murray, Whyte etc.
  14. I can't recall him being wrong.
  15. History would suggest that anything FS is prophesising will likely come to fruition. Logic would also suggest these events are likely to occur. I really like it when FS makes predictions to certain fans, gets dogs abuse, then proves correct. He is a legend.
  16. No doubt about it. We also tried to cut wages but it was rejected. We are being run terribly and needed money somewhere just to stop another insolvency event. The only reason we turned down any offers was because they were far too derisory. The fact is we received no offers for our players worth accepting.
  17. I have never disagreed with a single thing Calscot has said about us on the pitch but I agree with pretty much all his views off it. Just goes to show
  18. Long gone (debatable) but his stench lives on
  19. I know you're joking but you would find plenty fans that agree elsewhere.
  20. He's not very good though. Hopefully we get Bougherra back because Moshni is basically an upper SPL level player that would never in normal circumstances be a regular for either of the OF. He would be a good player for Hibs or Aberdeen. For us he will be a disaster waiting to happen against better opposition and Europe is a non starter.
  21. I don't think he really has any particular philosophy, he's just a very poor manager across the board. If you were to say one thing, it's that he seems to like direct, route one football, though it could be that he just lacks the ability to get his players playing the passing game. He's from the old school of Scottish football managers except he lacks the organisation and fairly decent defences that such types usually offer. Part of the Scottish mindset, however, (and British in general) is to often favour height and power above talent.
