  1. For me the most important thing is that Lennon seems to have lost his Leg end status in the Celtic dressing room with Commons, Loovens, Kayal all showing signs of not really wanting to be at the club. The support is slowly turning on him as well and the board won't sack him in the middle of the season,if at all. The back-door bhoys look one step away from meltdown. I am kneel Lemon.
  2. Yes. I'll bet you are first in the line to buy it Ian. I see you in a sleeping bag outside the bookshop.
  3. Does the dick not know that Rangers so far this season have been without Wier, Papac, Whittaker, McCulloch, Ness, Bartley, Goian Naismith, Lafferty and Jelavic at some point this season. Lets see how the tims do without Brown.

    Welcome Thread

No Enjoy. We are not the busiest of sites but that in itself is one of the charms you actually can answer a post without there being 40 posts in between.

    Welcome Thread

Welcome mate I hope you enjoy posting.
  6. They don't exist believe me it is all gimmicks to get your money in their pocket.
  7. I am afraid the tims can turn that into one of their political songs easier than we can make it a Rangers song. Stay away from the village people because we may be singing "In the Gravy" in the future.
  8. Stop mate you can never win in the long run. A poor Bookie doesn't exist.
  9. I think he means that he is glad that Weir and McCulloch ar not near the playing field.
  10. What Zappa said. Sky also have Italy. France and Spain have Canal + so it would most likely be a battle between these two unless a big Yank comes in to steal it
  11. UEFA dictate they don't ask and I think most of the big teams will be jumping at the chance of the extra money. As Sky have the majority of football in the top countries they will probably turn out the lucky bridesmaid anyway, with only Canal+ the only obvious contender.
  12. I will check with Admin whether this is a cause for a ban.
  13. Brought this into Rangers chat as I feel it has a lot to do with Rangers. I think it will work the same as it does in any country with different divisions with a geographical set up for teams under. There could be play-offs between the top-Geo teams to see who gets promoted to the Euro league.
  14. This is something that was always going to come. UEFA have been shaping it in the CL for a while now making it almost impossible for smaller teams to get any further than the preliminary rounds. I just hope Rangers don't fall too far down the pecking order before the top tiers are picked. We will never make the top division but hopefully we may get there one day.
  15. In Holland it is all fan Stewards as well. There is only a police presence waiting in the background normally riot police who wait outside the ground. The amount of police presence depends on the danger of trouble category of the game. With Feynoord for example there will be quite a large amount of riot Police and with a low category game probably just a few police vans full. A guy in my work has just started by Twente. He received a 6 week curses of a few evenings in the week and now he is on the job.
  16. I think you also have to take into consideration the more anti-social society we live in as well as blaming it all on the police. Kids are not looking to punch you anymore they are more and more using knives and some even guns. Obviously stress plays a part as well. I know a few police officers who left because of the dangers and stress involved. I think you have to look at both sides of the picture.
  17. He was a Celtic supporter.
  18. I thought you had a device that gave you Sky Craig?
  19. 54andcounting must be about your age as well. Don't worry I'm in the same club. Beating the mighty Bayern Munich with Franz Beckenbauer was another top point for me. Kai Johansen's goal to win the Scottish cup also stood out for me as it was one of the better memories of that time. Although I wasn't at that game not being allowed to go to old firm games at that age it stands out in my memory. Getting beat 3-1 by the mighty Ajax in the Super cup also stands out in my memory as Ajax were a class apart at that time with Johan Cruiff totally brilliant.
  20. I definitely think he has shown enough over the last few weeks to show there is a good player developing. He will have ups and downs as every winger and indeed young player does, but it is great to actually have a winger with pace again. He is certainly the best wing prospect I have seen for at Ibrox for a while and he certainly deserves a chance. I admit I think Templeton at Hearts is a better all round footballer and if we bought him I would be delighted.

    Administration

I always wondered from the very beginning if Whyte was not a puppet for King until King has control over his money again. I am pretty sure King will still have money stashed away somewhere where he could have organised the whole Ellis, Whyte situation.

    Administration

This is the only reason that Whyte may not appeal and in fact choose for administration directly. If they get a chance to change the law then he may loose the right that he can keep the assets. He may just go for a quick administration and start again while I have control scenario.
  23. I get worried that some people think things are over after 10 games. We still have 30+ games to go ffs. We only have a certain 7 point lead and how often is the league won from a 7 point deficit. More often than not I feel over the last few years.
  24. That's what I had Craig but I am quite happy to lose that one.
