Putting a 65% penalty on the original bill is surely way over the top and totally not in par with other fines or penalties. I think Rangers are quite right to fight this if what is written is true. -
Sorry to disagree with you mate you deserve to win when you break down a defence and score legitimate goals not when you get a present from the Ref. If you want to lose your money quickly then investing in a football team is a pretty quick way to do it. 100 million is not a lot of money in football terms. I would certainly try and help the club in some way but certainly wouldn't throw funny money at them.

I have to think of Arian Robbens miracle cure to play for Holland in the WC. It was just patching over a crack that left Robben out for three-quarters of the next season at Bayren Munich. They were livid and claimed the Dutch for compensation. I think if there is a disagreement or doubt over a player a neutral doctor should decide whether a player is fit or not.

I would have liked us to have signed Tim Matavz who went to PSV for 6million euro. I really think he would have been a bumper package with Jelavic and his transfer fee will double in the future. That is a wasted chance for us imo as we were interested in him at one point.
