I said that in an earlier post that playing a diamond shape without width is a mistake. Unless you have attacking full-backs the the diamond shape is easy to defend and not an option for me.

If ever we had a reason to win the league..........

Wee poofy asshole!!! -
Do we need him in the reserve team.

Never a penalty. The Japs used to be a proud people who would die on the sword. Nakamura must have them spinning in their graves. The only likeness he has with a kamikaze pilot is that he knows how to dive.
-
Another dubious penalty for the list.

Played great today as striker. He was playing in the point because Huntelaar was out. He can at times be very frustrating though as he can be very greedy. A lot of times Huntelaar is clear for a tap-in and Suarez prefers to do something spectacular which fails.
-
Sorry i never noticed that.

You work for the Police that's the next worst thing.

If you want to be professional you have to do your job to the best of your ability no matter who your employer is. A wee sleeping tablet in the spaghetti on OF day's would be great though.

Fletcher out then?

In fact Walter Smith went on a fools shopping spree last summer. Just like the old never ending bottle of Guinness Joke. Give me two please. Our team is full of central defenders but he bought or signed more. Central Strikers i ran out of fingers counting them and he has also bought enough defensive midfielder's to build the Berlin wall up again. So many defensive minded players and yet we leak 3 goals against Dundee utd. Walter Smith is the Dotty Professor and should be given his pension.

Och well he has had about 4 years up to now to get his sharpness up so what's a bit more time. You would need to get a shot of the Tardis to find any sustained form from him. -
Totally disagree that the rule is a farce, if we want to cut out diving then the refs have to give yellow cards. Preferably i would like to see an immediate replay so the ref can be sure before he gives it though.

Not heard about Feynoord but FC Utrecht had a Rangers supporters club at the time Michael Mols played for us. i would also say that if Borrussia Dortmund have Celtic ties then FC Schalke will have Rangers ties as they both hate each other

Great post Cammy, and i had the same thoughts as you over Kenny Miller. I just did not think he was good enough. I also stand corrected on that one

I am not so sure, the danger Alan Hutton brought was one of the reasons we failed to win the league last year when he left imo. If you do not have good attacking wing-backs then your diamond shape will be like running into a brick wall and simple to defend against. With no danger on the wing the full-backs can play 10-15 yards further inside and cut off the channels. That is why our best games last year was when Hutton or Burke were on form imo.

Rightly or wrongly there is only one person who will get the nod from Smith and that is BF. I prefer to keep the width rather than have a diamond with 4 defensive midfielder's or play-makers. It would be an option with attacking wing-backs but we are short of them.

I go with Bluedell on this one and i wonder if most of you who say Burley should make the move, would say the same if it was Paul Hartley. Boyd should have bided his time and proved Burley wrong on the park.(As he is now doing) Something tells me even if the gesture was at McCulloch it was still a GIRUY at Burley,if you get my drift.

Won't happen due to safety issues. Seats apart from sitting on also act as a safety barrier. It is also easier to pick out trouble makers in an all seater stadium. I don't ever see the clock being turned back.

He certainly couldn't have had a brain haemorrhage, as he doesn't have a brain.

Has looked good from what i have seen. A pity he could not have played beside the King.

Very funny. I think Ricky means anyone wanting to call themselves McGeady is embarrassing.

To be honest Celtic played well in the first half and defended well in the second. A Manu goal always looked on the cards though. If Berbatov had not hurried his shot at the end it would have been worse for Celtic. As for the Holy Goalie, more like the wholly spirits Goalie.
