A bigger concern for me is why is Spanner still here? At least Bryce Curdy admitted he was a Celtic fan.
  2. I always new MF was one of the forum favourites.
  3. First time i've agreed with you on here.
  4. Aye, being top of the league with a game in hand is exactly remincent of Eck's last days. I'm all for slating managers when they fuck up, and Smith didn't cover himself in glory last night, but when you start making ridiculous claims (as Totti is awfully fond) people stop listening to you. Did Eck get sacked for bad Euro results, or for being into double figure behind in the league early doors?
  5. Allan McGregor should consider playing for a team where the players in front of him match his own ability and desire.
  6. Lets hope they lose them all.
  7. Could you not realistically argue that the bottom was the end of ECk/PLG and that we're just on the upside of the nadir. It's not pretty, but it's certainly not the lowest point? At least when it comes to onfield matters (well results).
  8. You can't take a post seriously that claims a team of league winners is no better than a team of league chumps.
  9. I genuinely thought that 3 points was a possibility before tonights game. If that makes me silly, so be it. But looking at the onlien community that puts me in the majority. You mentioned hindsight in another thread. Stuttgart are poor in the league this season, giving us every reason for optimism. Though that doesn't paint a prettier picture for us in hindsight it shows where people were coming from but also highlights that the domestic game in Scotland is in worse shape than we realised.
  10. Whether or not people are right about a need for change in the long term (and they very well could be) I honestly believe that for the remainder of this season sticking with him is our best chance of winning the SPL and gaining the CL bounty again which is more important than anything else given our current situation.
  11. Are we still waiting for Totti's first pro-Rangers post? And people are thanking him for his tiresome contribution.
  12. Aye, my bad. Giving them a credibility they don't deserve by referring to them as sports programmes. Just highlighting the fact that I wouldn't listen to any of them as they all fall short of the required standard.
  13. Ties in with what you were saying about McCulloch and fans perceptions of players on another thread. Some fans will always say Miller has worked hard, Boyd was lazy and his touch was poor regardless of what actually happened in the game.
  14. Would love to be as confident as Pete. Hope you're right mate. I'll take any kind of win. Even with the outlandish luck and deflections Unirea benefited from in our last home game. I'll say one thing though, if, when the team sheets are read out about 7.30-7.40 and Boydie isn't starting i'll be fucking raging and a lot less confident.
  15. THe only thing that should be clarified with this steward is that they should no longer be employed to work at Ibrox. Probably a bigoted Celtic fan, jumped up and abusing their power.
  16. In the other thread I voted he should play. He is arguably our best player. But I can't pick anyone to drop out now.
  17. Like others, I agree Miller shouldn't have said anything. But at the same time it gives us a clear indication that Madjid is taking the piss and his team mates aren't happy with it either. BD is most likely correct in that Miller may have been sanctioned to make a comment. If not it's a bit of an own goal by the club.
  18. Interesting point Zappa, let us no when you're back to finish it though.
  19. The sound of silence would be my preferred station for sports broadcasts in Scotland.
  20. That's ll be them extending their international brand again will it. :fish:
  21. I felt a bit of a tingle just listening to the Champions League music with Rangers players on the screen as Sky advertised their up coming games this week. Bring it on. Good read as ever Cammy. Sums up the on field concerns for Rangers (and Ireland ) well.
  22. I'd agree with that mate. But then I cherish actual, tangible skills and rewards on a football field more than "hard work". On current form it's debatable any of the other forwards could offer more than Boyd even in a 4-5-1.
  23. When you had Cousin playing well and winning matches in Europe, dropping Boyd was an option. When we're continually getting beat or drawing games we should be winning, then dropping Boyd for impotent attackers is not an option. I don't see how Walter can claim it is a game where he has to think about playing him or not. It's a no-brainer. At least it should be.
  24. Always good to laugh at them.
