Hmmm maybe I should have read this thread more thoroughly. Have we been talking about Ronaldo's BJ technique?
-
Have to say, I still haven't made up my mind about the big man, but he was superb against Bremen.
-
A better player than Ronaldo.
-
Charlie Adam's better.

I'm saying nowt, no way I'm jinxing this. OK, 2-0 JCD and Barry F!
-
I had thought that too, although haven't really seen any replays since saturday. At the end of the day, we never gained an advantage so where's the harm. I happen to think Dougal got it spot on - it wasn't an outright dive but it wasn't a foul.

Wakey wakey!!!

Surely I'm not the only one reading this and looking at todays date? James Bond flying him into Glasgow for a deep-fried pizza??

I honestly don't have a problem in a move from them to us or vice versa (can we sell them Amdy Faye). I don't think Brown would go for it and I think another year like this where he is learning his trade at a wee team will prepare him for coming to Ibrox. No doubting the boy has the talent, but it's harnessing it that Strachan is struggling with. Brown needs players around him just now that are able to help him out so he doesn't fall into the Barry Ferguson 'I do everything cos I'm surrounded by muppets) trap. As an aside, what about Riordan for the left wing next season?

Players are always gonna fall out. Folk fall out with their mates all the time, but they put it behind them and move on. Even if it did happen, nothing to worry about.

Haven't seen either the tackle or the reaction. But Wenger is a dick.
-
Hardly surprising, Jewell's been inspiring confidence in his team since he took over!!
-
Wenger, the worlds most successful blind football manager.

'I should've brought Walter Smith in as assistant manager!!'

Watching nakamura on Saturday, I was again gobsmacked that he actually won POTY. He's even more a one trick pony than McGeady!
-
I hope we get another goal early in the second half. I want some lunch before work, but my stomach is in knots just now!!
-
I've been thinkng that for the last couple of days. Pride comes before a fall!!!! But after the last couple of seasons, I think we deserve to be a bit optimistic.
-
And we needed someone from Holland to sort that one out!!!

Celtic escape rap from UEFA over sectarian singing claim Mar 29 2008 By Chris Roberts CELTIC will not be punished by UEFA over alleged sectarian behaviour by their fans in Barcelona. Record Sport understands a journalist sent videos to the Euro beaks of supporters allegedly singing sectarian songs in and around the Nou Camp during the Champions League clash between the sides on March 4. But yesterday the governing body said the evidence was not sufficient enough to take any action. The decision is good news for the club who along with Rangers have worked hard to drive sectarianism out of their grounds. A spokesperson for Celtic said: "We have not been informed of any UEFA investigation concerning our visit to Barcelona and would be surprised if any was to take place. "Indeed, Celtic supporters have already been praised highly by UEFA for their behaviour and were applauded by Barcelona, the Catalan police, the people of the city and the Catalan media. "Celtic states quite clearly that as a club open to all, it stands firmly against all forms of bigotry and sectarianism. "This can be seen from the great volume of work Celtic carries out in this area. "The club condemns any small minority who choose to indulge in any form of negative or offensive behaviour. "As a club open to all since 1888, Celtic again reiterates its commitment to combating any form of bigotry or unacceptable conduct." A spokesman for UEFA said: "We have received footage showing Celtic supporters allegedly singing anti-Queen and pro-IRA songs - sectarian songs. "Basically we take care of all manifestations of sectarian singing. The only condition is that it must be in the immediate surrounding area of the stadium." Rangers were fined s8280 by UEFA for the behaviour of their fans during the clash with Osasuna last March. They insisted there was "improper conduct" by both sets of fans in Pamplona and it is believed the fine imposed on Rangers was largely for sectarian singing by fans. From todays Record.
