I have absolutely no problem with the SNP. I've always thought it was entirely transparent what they were up to and it's been fully reinforced by the failure of 12 years in government in Scotland. I do take your point about politicians in general and find it hard to argue with it but the SNP runs Holyrood and sets the political agenda in Scotland, not the tories or labour or libdems. No amount of whataboutery can change that. My political position aspiration isfirmly for "small state - large personal freedom" but I'd feel safer voting for Corbyn than the SNP.

I think it's pretty clear the SNP would already be dust if it wasn't for a core support that's vaguely Scottish, identifiably Irish, emotionally republican and strongly anti-British. They courted it and now cling to it like a life raft. Unfortunately for the SNP, they have no chance of controlling these constituents who will inevitably poison their host like everything else they touch. Never ever trust the SNP. If they say it, they're lying. If they do it, it's deceit.

I honestly think members from Glasgow would better serve their grievance by simply ignoring those whose questions are clearly presented with the sole intention of undermining the proposition and without a morsel of counter-argument. I suspect any return on further development of the existing stadium would be a diminishing one. The stadium is a product of its time and seems not to have been built with a view to future extension or fundamental improvement. Any significant uptick in capacity is going to require near-total redevelopment, which will be entirely possible when Scotland wins the World Cup and Bill Gates' Rangers wins the Champions League. Until then maybe we'll have to settle for the stadium we have and focus on fixing the holes in the roof.

I see this time and time again, people with an agenda saying they need lists of evidence before they can deign to grant their agreement ... when in reality their approval or otherwise is about as worthless as their own condescension. I can understand if people who live in and have first hand experience of a sectarian council want to disagree and put up some sort of reason for doing so. What I can't accept are people who don't even live in the same country, let alone Glasgow, calling out Glaswegians for having an opinion, without even the courtesy of an explanation. I don't live in Glasgow, I'll listen to people who do.

Brutal is right. I did it for a couple of years and had to move downstairs to avoid a heart attack. Now front row main stand, nothing would persuade me to give up these seats.

I find it hard to criticise King's assessment. I said a year ago we had no chance of the league this season although I didn't see the Gerrard appointment coming. Now, depending on money being available this summer, it seems entirely realistic to think we could be genuinely competitive next season.

It's the first Champions League game in years that i can say I truly enjoyed. If only all European football could be like that. Pity there had to be a loser. Criticising Man City because they spend lots of money is just stupid. Football isn't a socialist enterprise and clubs in the modern era have always bought success, including Rangers. That an exception comes along once in a blue moon takes nothing away from the reality that financial muscle has always been the principal foundation of success on the park. If you don't like that reality try finding another activity where money counts for nothing.

This situation could of course be changed rapidly if the Palestinians stopped overdosing on victimhood and self-harm, and engaged with the rest of the world in a more constructive and practical manner, even if that meant Palestinian elites having to give up some of their film star lifestyles.

As important as new and better players will be for next season, we also need to see our manager developing his tactical and strategic leadership. I think he will.

Of course, the left doesn't actually give a fig for Palestine or its people. That much is pretty clear. The left happily ignores the hijacking by Islamism of what was traditionally a secular Palestinian population. They ignore the current governance of Palestine whose activities effectively contradict and despise the identity and values that western leftists claim as their own. Leftist ideology has such shallow roots that it depends for expression on causes that are purely emblematic. What Palestine does is irrelevant. The principles by which Palestine conducts itself are irrelevant. All that matters is the projection of "Palestine" as a cause celebre with no purpose other than self-justification. The same applies to the adoption of Palestine by the ludicrous celtic brotherhood and its installation in the lexicon of self-appointed freedom fighters. It applies to superficial wannabes who fly Palestine flags over our public buildings and wave them at football matches or ScotNat rallies. It has little or nothing to do with the reality of Palestine and everything to do with surrogate symbolism. When was the last time St Jeremy sharpened his sickle or the green brigade visited Gaza. Hell, when was the last time St Nicola visited Govanhill? No wonder socialists everywhere make such an arse of it every time they stumble into government and are forced to confront reality.

I've just watched last night's game again and I'm at a loss to understand why anyone could possibly think Ryan Jack was "anonymous". Jack, Arfield or Kamara could all have been MOTM. Perhaps it was mistaken identity. Rangers were playing in blue.
