  1. Alves, Herrera, Dodoo, Rossiter, Cordoso, O'Halloran, Dalcio, Hodson ... can all go and as soon as possible. Oh and kranjcar too. Not sure about Wallace and Pena. Essential to tie down Tavernier on a new deal.
  2. He could have starred for the Brazilian Worldbeaters before we signed him. What matters to Rangers is what he's done since signing, which is hardly worth a mention.
  3. A silly cheap shot from Scottish Nationalism? Let's focus on the man, not the party politics.
  4. We clearly bought a dud. Get rid of him as soon as possible.
  5. One thing is beyond doubt. Alfredo Morelos is a better footballer than Bill Leckie is a journalist
  6. Happy to help. Best wishes to Johnny and his family at this difficult time.
  7. No no no. Murty has deserved all the praise he's received for the achievement today and recently against Aberdeen and Hibs. The issue of his silly comments today is quite different and also deserves to commented on. Glossing over it achieves nothing.
  8. Proud of the team today for a collective performance I didn't dare hope for. Proud of the Rangers support too for showing the scumbags how to back their team. Only disappointment was listening to Graeme Murty bigging up the enemy. Why did he feel he had to do that?
  9. I'd rather we gave the job to a cat than Billy Davies.
  10. I wish our finances were as shit as theirs.
  11. It’s really working for us, isn’t it?
  12. I’ll have to disagree. I never met a director who didn’t think he was God’s gift to business and they all think they’re astute. Of course the vast majority are nothing of the kind. When you see how the real deals operate, it’s not hard to see the Rangers directors as clowns.
  13. With the best will in the world, you can't realistically look to Graeme Murty for the salvation of Rangers. Murty is just a symptom of the club's deeper malaise. Who honestly thought back in July 2012 when we embarked on this awful journey that five and a half seasons later Rangers would still be run by clowns and still drifting aimlessly, without hope or direction? We are nowhere near recovering our former character as a club. I used to joke that these were our Barnes and Brady years but it's not even that good. I suspect there will be a few more Warburtons and Caixinhas through our books before this is over.
  14. Herrera-Morelos both starting at last. About bloody time.
  15. It doesn't matter that they won't get the sort of money being quoted. What matters is that they will make a bunch of money out of Dembele because they have a clear strategy to do so and their record at it is so much better than our that it hardly seems something to ridicule. I absolutely hate it that we willing provided such unquestioning support to a board of directors who are far below the calibre required to run a club like Rangers. For so long as these people are calling the shots, we will continue to flounder in the dark and stumble from disappointment to disappointment. I know Paul Murray, watched closely his performance at 3i, and I can tell you I wouldn't let him run a tap.
  16. Would it have made Donald Finlay a more able advocate if he had failed to exercise his best efforts on behalf of the client that was allocated to him? Finlay would make an excellent choice to speak on behalf of Club1872 members, surely that's the important thing.
  17. Surely they can't throw good money after bad. The clear inference from recent weeks is the board intends a new manager but either can't find one or can't agree on who it should be. So, once again, the season is effectively over as far as making a serious challenge is concerned - keep the chequebook in the drawer until a permanent manager is found and try to go again next season.
  18. Eventually, you just get numb to the inevitability of this. Administration was almost six years ago and here we sit: no manager, no leadership, no improvement, little hope.
  19. Club1872 can indeed draw credibility from its shareholding but would be far more effective operation outside the boardroom, where it can if necessary adopt an adversarial stance and can freely express supporter views in public.
  20. How about because there isn't the slightest sign of it being significant? And even if it was, the tone of communications from Club1872 reflect more of a desire to be seen as competent bureaucrats than effective leaders of the support. It's demoralising to watch the same old hopeless game being played out yet again.
  21. I can't remember one decent performance by MOH but I can remember plenty poor ones. I see little point bring him back unless it's to sell him in January. Halliday is worth another look.
  22. It would have been more succinct and equally informative if the club had just said "fuck off". You're kidding yourselves if you think buying shares will change anything.
  23. It really has to be the end for Miller. Regardless of what you think of him, how do you justify giving another years contract to someone his age who's been out injured for six months ... you can't.
  24. A well argued position and clearly correct. The one place we could probably benefit from foreign input is the football authorities in Scotland, some people to replace the dimwits and bigots entrenched in the SFA and SPLFL. Edit: ... and refereeing might also be improved with a few foreign imports.
