  1. Every footballer has a price.
  2. There's a petition to get VAR binned. Here's a quote: "Football supporters were misled, and told VAR would be used only in "clear and obvious" circumstances. We have seen thus far, that this is simply not the case. The paying supporters in the stadiums have been left bewildered during the decisions, with a total lack of communication given during VAR making its decisions. Supporters should have been prioritised with the implementation of VAR, however, they have been totally cast aside."
  3. I agree but these things are all about weighing up the possibilities. Winning the league doesn't get us into the CL group stages and the qualifiers would be a step up from the EL qualifiers. I agree that we're unlikely to sell any key players but to suggest there's no chance we will is a tad fanciful. Time will tell.
  4. The treasurer might disagree.
  5. You'd think Barisic was born and bred a Bear watching that. ?
  6. I doubt it too but don't think it's a certainty we can hold onto everyone if clubs like Milan and Roma start making bids. "Borna, would you like to play in the San Siro, Naples, Turin and Genoa or would you miss Fir Park and Pittodrie too much?".
  7. That line of thought is always a bit of a gamble, as far as the money men are concerned.
  8. I can understand armchair fans being a bit keener on VAR. A relative regularly goes to Anfield and has told me VAR is horrendous when you're at the match. I was on the fence when it was first talked about but having seen it in action in England I'm now 100% against it.
  9. Depends on the offer. Rangers are not in a position to be knocking back huge bids.
  10. The Compliance Officer helped us out, didn't she. More televised games helped us out, didn't it. VAR will obviously help us out too. The only people benefitting from VAR are refs and pundits because it widens their employability. It's just another layer of the same old stuff.
  11. Be careful what you wish for.
  12. Their integrity is already in question. VAR is dire and if they introduce it up here it won't benefit Rangers and I would seriously consider packing in going to the football. Thankfully a few managers and players in England seem to be slowly realising it is ruining the game down there.
  13. I love the way Kent, then Barisic and then Kamara punch the air. It's almost synchronised.
  14. It's a delightful feeling. ?
  15. That's incorrect. Scottish refs have officiated Champions League games this season.
  16. I don't think today's victory has really sunk in for me yet. The nice thing about the Winter break is, we have a few weeks to gloat.
  17. Good post. The two European adventures since Gerrard arrived have been almost unbelievable. The game where we beat Celtc a year ago was a milestone and so was today's result. Ultimately, though, it's about winning things and he has to start doing that fairly soon. We are capable of winning the title...it's up to the manager and players to get it done.
  18. If EPL clubs make sensible offers and players heads are turned then you have to be realistic. But hopefully we don't sell anyone in January. Popcorn teeth has already stated the scum will add players.
  19. One would hope all of our squad realise, if they stay until the end of the season, they could be part of something very special.
  20. VAR is awful. I hope we never see it in Scotland. I have no idea why any football supporter who attends matches would want it.
  21. He doesn't wanna talk about it.
  22. That's an amusing tifo display. They really are a weird, cultish subspecies.
  23. Good. I'm glad they are suffering.
  24. It's a great way to end the most turbulent decade in our club's history. Now, we have to continue and win our title back.
  25. I didn't watch it. About time we won at that midden. WATP.
