  1. What has his mental state got to do with loyalty ?
  2. 'loyalty' wins you f@ck all in football. Ability is what counts.
  3. Cousin is a much better player than Novo or Boyd. I couldny give a sh!te whether he wants to move to England. He is being paid his wages by Rangers so is still a Rangers player. I also happen to believe that ,as a professional football player, he would give 100% in the match................which is about 50% more than Boyd would give. Also, I canny understand the mock outrage being shown at Cousin wanting to move south. He had a clause built into his contract allowing him to go so Rangers obviously knew what his intentions were, but still signed him.
  4. Don't let your feelings about the guy blind you to the truth. That statement is nonsense. Boyd, if he plays tonight will get caught offside or give away free kicks for pushing and shoving right up until the 60th minute when he gets substituted. Boyd scores goals. Unfortunately, not against anybody who matters.
  5. I'd rather play a football player who might just win us the game............and Boyd izny that guy. We could play Nacho [how many times can I get caught offside in one game] Novo alongside Boyd and set some kind of record.
  6. Aye. Let's play Boyd up front. Link: http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,5~1240283,00.html
  7. Good news. No decision on his transfer until next week.
  8. Obviously injury and suspension comes into it but, had we held on to Hutton and Cousin [ok, he wanted away] we would not have needed to bring in more players for next seasons League. I have absolutely NO doubt we would have won the League this season by a mile. Chesney would be on his way over the border and large sections of the mhanks support would have imploded. This is the most disappointing thing about the whole affair as far as I'm concerned. The days of strengthening our pool for a challenge in the C.L. are over. That will never happen again. The money just ain't in the Scottish game to allow it. Still think we WILL win the League this year. It's just gonny be a wee bit harder.
  9. Aye. But that was for the wummins team.
  10. I like debate [especially when the manner it's written in would suggest someone with an I.Q. above room temperature]. I don't even mind abuse as long as the abuser is at some point making a relevant point. It's easy to get carried away and become Goliath with a keyboard. Haveny seen anything on this thread to upset me tbh. ............mind you, I'm an auld c@nt with very thick, leathery skin.
  11. I just learned the game will be shown live on BBC. No need to go pub hunting.
  12. Rangers received an offer and accepted. They then spoke to Hutton who said he wanted to stay. Hutton went down to speak to Spurs TWICE. He [and Rangers ] received improved offers. Hutton moved. Those are the only FACTS known. Hutton has since said he is happy to move to Spurs [what else was he gonny say ?] and that 'It was every young Scottish football players dream to play in the E.P.L." Hee-haw else is "known". There are a lot of Bears out there unhappy with Murray. I'm one of them and I doubt we'll see a brown cent of Huttons transfer money going towards improving the team. But anybody posting on this or any other forum that "Hutton was forced out- FACT" is talking through their @rse. I've been in several debates about this subject on here and elsewhere. I'll repeat...............show us 'the facts' or shut up.
  13. I like Adam as a player despite his wayward passes. I can also understand why some Rangers fans don't like him. I make that 4 games in a row he's came within a bawhair of scoring the goal of the season.
  14. ............and some other sites should take lessons from it.
  15. I found it hard to pick a MOTM last night. I thought all our players did well on a bumpy pitch and being blasted by gusting wind. I thought McCulloch was largely annonymous [which was the only downside]. If I was forced to pick out one player it would be Ferguson.
  16. Sorry Fraser................but your 'source' is wrong on all accounts. :admin:
  17. Have a look at the number of games Lovenkrands played in compared to Buffel.
  18. Arteta got left on his own when Ferguson got a passport and went over the border. Nobody replaced Barry and I actually saw with my own eyes the very moment Arteta said "F@ck this for a game of soldiers. I'm off" [Dunfermline away]. Buffel, played in the right position with the players we have now [and staying clear of injury of course] imo has the potential to be a star. Some will disagree and that's their right. All I'm saying is, the boy is now fit. Give him a chance and we'll see.
  19. Buffel [apart from a couple of nights ago] hasn't played in a Rangers side with as much support in midfield as we have right now. He's suffered from exactly the same as Arteta did. No support...........and we know how good Arteta has proved himself since. Give him a run in the position he's suited to rather than expecting him to battle in midfield and then we'll see if he's 'inconsistent'. We put up with Lovenkrands doing hee-haw for years. Gie the boy a chance.
  20. Thomas Buffel is a good player..................but I don't think that he, or anybody else, EVER claimed he was a Laudrup. Doesny make sense. :admin:
  21. Apart from the fact I'm working, I think that place is a wee bit more expensive than I'd be prepared to pay for a bevvy. £2 a pint Loyal.
  22. I think Buffel is a very skillful player and would be happy to see him in a Rangers side. Where most of the criticism of him comes from imo, is fans in this country not being able to accept a player unless he shows 100% aggression. Tommy McLean is still remembered fondly nowadays by older Bears but I remember the fans screaming at him for pulling out of challenges. The wee man had skill but, like Buffel, wasny built for a clugging match. Lovenkrands on the other hand.....................
  23. Afraid that's what happens when you start to believe your own publicity and don't behave like a professional athlete. I've seen many like him since the early 60's. Kilmarnock or suchlike awaits oor Kris.
  24. I don't believe he HAD a budget or that any of the Hutton money would've went for players. Murray wants the debt right down to make the Club more attractive to bids.
