  1. It has made it onto the BBC website now: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/r/rangers/6237901.stm I'd be happy enough if he signed for us - don't care about his affection for the Tic - he is a good player and would enhance our squad.
  2. Looks like he will end up at Charlton http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/f/falkirk/6235101.stm
  3. Yeah, I'd second that. Having said that if the new management team need money the likes of Sebo and Buffel will be sold on.
  4. Excellent news! It is a pity that he is ineligible for Sundays game
  5. To be honest the two that I'd get rid of are Letizi and N'Daiye. I'd be prepared to give the rest (yes even Sebo) a chance to see what they can do under the new management team. The youngsters he brought in (the two French kids and the SA from Chelsea) are for the future so they may prove to turn out to be good signings.

Personally I'd like to see Sebo sold ASAP, he hasn't justified his price tag, and doesn't look like he ever will. He can take Papac with him too...
  7. I liked Bardsley, he has a lot of potential and I'm sure he'll do well at ManYoo. Due to one incident his time at Ibrox turned into a farce.
  8. Pretty hard hitting article! But there is an awful lot of truth in what he says...
  9. I would definitely take Webster. He is a good player and is obviously familiar with the cut and thrust of the SPL.
  10. I was stunned to see them losing 2-0. I was doing a wee dance round the living room and then they hit those two goals. I was gutted! I fully expected them to win it...
  11. Cause you don't make too much money betting on dead certs!
  12. As I said in a previous post I absolutley agree that the change of formation has helped us turn in a few good performances. As you say, we will really see what the team is like when Boyd returns. to be honest I'm looking forward to him coming back, as he can score goals from nothing. Who do we drop when he is fit tho?
  13. I realised this the other day too. It seems weird that with our top goalscorer not in the team wea re better! But like you say 11 men working hard instead of 10 (not that I'm getting at Boydy BTW).
  14. Mols is great! It is such a pity his career was pretty much prematurely ended against Bayern Munich. They guy should really have gone on to be an all star legend at Ibrox.
  15. I didn't know that, and since their next two games are at home, they won't get a chance to rectify that either!
  16. Absolutely agree! We suddenly have purpose about our play. Before we were too easy to play against. I'm glad that a change has been made, but perhaps it should have been made earlier, as we a now only playing for 2nd place instead of vying for the title. This has probably been discussed before, but for me PLG just didn't do enough research before he took the reigns. He should have been in Scotland watching games instead of just watching DVDs of our matches. Whilst running through the Sahara is a commendable achievement, perhaps he would have been wiser to spend the time researching the history of Rangers and finding out what he had really let himself in for? Having said that I'm 100% behind him.
  17. At 31 he doesn't really fall into the PLG criteria of being youthful and promising. plus he'd be cup-tied for the UEFA. He might be good for the SPL for 1 or 2 seasons, but I'd prefer someone with a bit more of a long-term outlook to their Ibrox career.
  18. If J-Rod does go who do we want in to replace him? We can't really compete with the EPL clubs to get anyone (I'd love to see Upson at Ibrox). Or do we go for guys with experience of the SPL? Pressley, Webster, Russell Anderson or Xander Diamond? Or do we forget about these guys ltogether and go for someone unknown from Europe?
  19. Les Reed has gone! WOOHOO! If ever there was a man not suited to being a football manager it was Les reed. Hopefully Alan Pardew can bounce back and get Charlton to safety!
