That's a bit more sensible, but I think I'll stick to watching the scores coming in on the vidiprinter for now!

Sky now have the NI international home games. Part of the deal with Sky was that they would show a handful of Irish League games (5 or 6 I think) along with the internationals. Last night's game was quite good, but if they start to show games like Larne v Institute then be afraid, be very afraid!

2-2 now, getting interesting!

McCulloch's was a cracker of a goal, and how did Naismith finish from such a tight angle? Both great goals. Why do the BBC have all the other highlights up apart from ours? Seems odd they don't put them all up together.

Anyone watching this? 64 mins gone so far and it's 1-1. Solitude (Cliftonville's ground) looks packed maybe they think they're in with a chance of beating the Blues...

£200!? That is far too much for me! You must be minted! LOL!
-
How much do you guys put on when you place your bets? £5, £10 or more?
-
I take it you didn't win too much this week Gribz?

Just saw Tevez's goal on the news - looked like a nice finish. A couple of mates of mine are at the game (got tickets through work even though they both hate ManYoo and Chelski). Have to admit I was jealous to hear they got tickets - I have to make do with text updates and the radio

I was trying to watch it but I couldn't get the stream to work. Ended up just following it online. Didn't know about that disallowed goal - could have turned the game! But a defeat like this should hopefully dent their confidence.

I just saw the Celtic goals on the C5 news. The Hibs winner is priceless!

Stuttgart's week just got an awful lot worse: Werder Bremen 4-1 Stuttgart They conceded two early goals and accumulated several bookings trying to claw their way back into the match. Hopefully their form will continue to dip!

I tend to agree with this. PLG didn't adapt to the Scottish game and for someone who was supposed to have a wonderful knowledge of the game he didn't half make some shocking signings. Eck had us punching above our weight for a long time given the resources he had available to him. But to bring the topic back on track. Bazza has been ecellent for us recently - without him we look very lightweight.

Didn't know you were in for an op Pete. Get well soon!

Essentially yes, but don't forget that the rankings encompass results that stretch back further than the past two qualifying campaigns.
-
Saw that on Wednesday and thought it looked amazing! Really wish I could have been part of it!

I was watching this game over at an Evertonians game. He predicted the miss from the re-take and that Johnson would sky the second one over the bar! The ref was a bit of a joke last night.

They mean sweet FA to the seedings of the WC qualifiers. As far as I know it is the performance of the teams in the groups that decides it. The total number of points gained in the last two campaigns divided by the total number of games played gives each team a coefficient. The countries are ranked by this coefficient and put into the various pots. I found this info somewhere on the web recently but I can't find it now... Will try to have another look for it.

Nice one! I always seem to jinx the teams that I bet on, therefore I never bet!
-
Cheers! I've finally managed to get some spare time to post again.
-
Me too! I was looking for this a couple of weeks to sign up. DAMMIT!
-
The atmosphere sounded amazing last night! Great performance too, coming back after Fergie went off shows what character the squad has.
-
Did you place a bet on that?

NI down to 36th! Nigel Worthington MUST GO!

I was listening to the radio this morning, but when the news came on I thought it was a practical joke! The relationship with Abramovich has always been strained, and I guess the 1-1 with Rosenberg was the final straw. Reports this morning are suggesting that Chelsea's Director Of Football, Avram Grant will take the reigns.
