Bill Miller withdraws bid

Recommended Posts

@ Bluedell ... methinks we'll only end up discussing "opinions" again, not the more serious topic at hand. Then again, whether we discuss the latter or not, for the time being, we're all in limbo (though some take more "joy" in talking about this than others).

Frankie, having had discussions with Bill Ng previously, do you reckon he is a possible to return to the table?

I've said continually that no bidder has walked away.

Whether that means we'll see a renewed effort from any previous interested party, I don't know as I know all were worried about the club's real fiscal state.

So "Yank go home" is truthful and not just bad mouthing?

I've yet to see such a banner or statement like that let alone write one.

You're not stupid enough to believe this whole deal collapsed because of "Yank go home".

We are undoubtedly a financial basket case akin to the footballing version of Greece years of financial abuse has come home to roost, I can't believe that some of our fans still don't realise how acutely desperate our actual situation is.

There were a variety of anti-Miller banners at the Dundee Utd game last midweek.

OK. If you're quibbling the actual statements were "Truck off Miller. Yanks no thanks" and "No thanks to asset stripping Yanks". I'm sure it's not the only reason but you're not stupid enough to believe that it had no impact on his enthusiasm for buying the club.

A wee question here. I understand BM was not given exclusivity so he would not have had access to the financial info. only available to those who pay the £500,000 fee? This to me gives credence to the 'stalking horse' theory espoused earlier on here. Something's going on for sure...

I find the thought of a hard nosed businessman to be put off by a couple of banners as simply ludicrous.

Miller and Club9 have just repeated the same crap as they did at Sheffield Wednesday, Tranmere, the San Diego ice hockey team and the TRAC scam.

They were simply full of the stuff that makes the grass go green in Texas.
