Rangers star Alfredo Morelos being targeted by Bristol City as they push for promotion to Premier League

Robins manager Lee Robinson is considering making a move for the Colombian striker this month but Graeme Murty will be reluctant to lose Morelos.

 

BRISTOL CITY have targeted Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos for their promotion push.

SunSport understands Robins boss Lee Johnson is considering a bid for the Colombian this month.

However, Ibrox coach Graeme Murty has been impressed by Morelos since taking over the hotseat and won’t be keen to lose him.

The 21-year-old tops the Premiership scoring charts with ten goals following his £1million move from Finnish club HJK last summer.

Rangers would be looking to at least double that figure if they sold Morelos.

But ambitious City have money to spend as they chase a Championship play-off place and a spot in England’s top flight.

Found it, it was the fourlads blog “Rangers this week were given the go ahead to relay and modify the roofs of the Copland, Sandy Jardine and Broomloan stands at a cost of £1m. Work and plans to regenerate the area surrounding the stadium continue with plans for a memorial garden now in public domain. The 150 year celebrations are a massive goal for our board who remain committed to returning our stadium to the stature she deserves. Work will continue to fix the Club Deck roof after the work on the other stands is done. Ibrox is rightfully being restored after years of neglect, something our board promised and are delivering.”
