Chris Coleman has left Sunderland, experienced manager. Just saying.

I thought he had been up and had spoken to them already and knocked it back?

A resounding no from me. He'll probably get mentioned for the Ipswich job and get back on the cash laden merry-go-round that is the English Championship.

Not disputing you obviously dB but the chances of it being John Henry are slim to none.  UEFA have issues with clubs that can play against each other in European competition being owned by the same people.  Technically we could play against Liverpool so Henry would be blocked from owning.  U less he is doing it as silent owner, but that would run afoul of SPFL rules I would think.

Now that I think about it, we should've been looking at a top quality assistant to appoint as our manager; someone that's involved with a top manager, that brings new, modern ideas. It offers more value than going after an unknown.
