Gerrard said he'd had positive talks and would be picking them up on Thursday. He - quite rightly - would be pushed no further but seemed pretty relaxed. He and Lampard ended the conversation with big grins on their faces but it's clearly not over the line. Lineker was very positive about the club and opportunity.
