  1. Signing news is coming soon, nothing overly exciting but keep eyes on tomorrow’s press That’s all I can say at this moment folks ?

  2. There needs to be a better way of deciding what gets referred to the Compliance Officer. The current method of allowing the Celtic-minded press to decide is clearly flawed,

  3. Whoever from Rangers will be present need to highlight the anti Morelos agenda!

  4. The only fall out was ST Pats FC whining again because they got beat, as they do every time they get beat, always cheated never defeated

  5. 'Even though Johan signed for ra Sellik, played for ra Sellik, and won honours at ra Sellik, he has no connection to ra Club. He is a separate entity'. The above is a statement issued by Peter Lawwell on £30 of software, written in face paint.

  6. I think that's excellent news for the rest of Rangers' season.

  7. Only give him to Dundee Utd if he's guaranteed to remain injured for the rest of the season, otherwise give them nothing.

  8. Hopefully, whilst transparency is being discussed, the Rangers' representatives demand that BBC Scotland's Sportscene runs credits? It is the only show on TV that does NOT run credits. Considering, they decide what players get the treatment, I think those of paying a license fee, have the right to know the Producer, Director, Editor, ................ etc? They are making the decisions on the referral process.

  9. St Johnstone? Weren't Kilmarnock were the only club to abstain from demoting us? I'm a pragmatist and building bridges with Scottish clubs benefits us, that's a fact we have to accept. That doesn't mean we should with every club of course but it's in our interest to with most. Our good relationship with Hamilton got us Docherty on the cheap when a Hibs or Aberdeen would have demanded triple the price if they dealt with us at all. This boy from Partick, just assuming he is a future Scottish international, a good relationship with the club could be the difference between signing him or not. I like the idea of loaning Rossiter, Hardie etc. to a Livingstone or Dundee (not United) because it disadvantages Celtic and advantages us when we play them. And when those clubs have a player we want it helps the negotations.

  10. Agreed, nobody knows who/how or why incidents are brought to the attention of the compliance officer, as it stands it seems BBC Sportscene is the route! also all incidents in every match must be fairly analysed otherwise it is unfair! maybe the refs & assistants can watch games back?

  11. He's been fit for a few months now. He needs to be starting and playing in games.

  12. Absolutely appalling behavior !!! Private conversations should remain that - they should NEVER be posted unless express permission given. Sorry to hear that someone felt the need to do that Stevie - thankfully that type of stuff would never happen on Gersnet - and if it did it would be removed post-haste

  13. I am not sure if this has been posted before as I haven't seen it. If it has I will delete it later.

  14. Yup Polster it is & now reported, did say it was unexciting but also apologies, as I said could only say so much Rossiter to Fleetwood looks likely if they can agree terms

  16. I know a woman who does part time voluntary work at St Andrews hospice which she was inspired to do after her father spent his final days in the facility. It should be noted that St Andrews is a registered charity, provides it's services free of charge, and is dependent on charitable donations and voluntary workers to continue. It's a more than worthy cause.

  17. The thought of one of our players helping Dundee Utd get promoted just sticks in my craw, as someone else said I'd rather we gave him to Ayr, Ross County or ICT, and if Hardie is going out on loan again give them him too. Dundee Utd's self inflicted spell in purgatory has often been the only moment of light relief in the last few seasons. I was reading and interview with their new American owner this week, I do so hope he turns out to be a charlatan intent on asset stripping and selling their ground to Tesco.

  18. I agree. I'd hate the thought of us helping them in any way John. I was initially all for us building bridges with all clubs when we returned to the premier league, but all of these clubs (or at least most of them) just continually take shots at us. So, burn the bridges I say. Other than St. Johnstone and Kilmarnock (who appeared to abstain from attempts to continually hurt our club), We should do nothing to cooperate with them unless there was a massive benefit to us. A move to United would not help Rossiter in my opinion so I'd rather he went anywhere else. The news about JW remaining with us on loan is welcome news. He's a young guy with plenty of areas to improve, but he's a warrior and I like that about him. We need players that are willing to get stuck in because we are in a fight in every game we play.

  19. But really ... who cares about a select team chosen by Rangers haters? Will Rangers win more trophies if a meaningless elect team is packed with our players. Again, who cares?

  20. Agreed. Scapegoated too often by the fans. People never seem to forget a poor performance against Livi but he never gets credit when he performs well, on one occasion in Europe he performed far better than Goldson and bailed him out a couple of times but he wasn't given any credit for it.

  21. To be fair our players have won nothing and the gauntlet has been thrown down for them to justify the status of being better than Celtic's players by consistently performing over the next few months, including the away old firm game where you don't have the 12th man. Hopefully their end of season select will be very different.

  23. No doubt about it. Both are stronger attacking than defending and have the potential to provide a steady flow of assists. I think the key to the wing backs getting space in a 3-5-2 is having as much creativity and threat as possible from the 3 centre mids. If you play centre mids who prefer to keep things simple it doesn't work. This would support playing Kent in front of maybe Davis and Jack because he loves a free role and would be a threat running into the channels and distracting full backs.

  24. The guy saying his father telling him to keep his hands up brought back memories as my father used to tell me to keep my arms crossed in front of my chest. The shouts trying to stop people pushing from behind are another thing stick in my mind. The surprising thing is that it took so long for an accident to happen as it was literally an accident waiting to happen. I have said before that was my first OF game but thankfully I was only allowed to go as I could use my uncles season ticket for the main stand. Thankfully as I used the Haugh ferry that was the stairs that I would have been on.

  25. Dealt with very professionally by Steve Clarke as expected. He's above the constant digs at Rangers that so many other clubs and their fans engage in.

  26. It would do wonders for his value. Unfortunately I think the best case scenario for us on Rossiter is he goes to a League 1 side like Fleetwood and proves he well above that level and a Championship club come in with a bid in the summer. This is pretty much what seems to have happened with Docherty. Championship clubs scout league 1 heavily and trust it more than Scottish football imo because it's more easily comparable to themselves.

  27. Only one sleep away from gameday ! Will be interesting to see how we line up. Two up top for this game is surely a given. Good opportunity to go with the 3-5-2 if we have enough central defenders fit and ready. It could also do with Barisic being available.

  29. If it was you finally coming out of the closet and declaring your undying love for KT .... I think someone already leaked that news a while ago mate. As for Stevie's understandable anger, I find that watching the last old firm game's highlights helps a lot with anger issues.

  30. I put my name in for Livingston but if anyone would like to do that especially then it is no problem. A few more names would be great as games are coming thick and fast.
