And perhaps pushing a £40 million price tag. But I want him one more season after this one. If we can win this league he might be the difference between making the cash avalanche of the CL groups or not making it. And if he could continue his scoring exploits there that £40 million price tag may become ever more realistic.3 points

Red card all day. Ref bottled it because it was us.3 points

I think we've played well. They've barely had a sniff; We've pegged them in. Our final ball was disappointing, but despite that, we've gone close several times.3 points

Ojo remains awful and we won't get away with him against better opposition. We have a real problem on the right side of attack. Should never have sold candeias2 points

Great performance and delighted to be in the final. Morelos is just getting better & better but we need to be realistic and understand he will eventually leave. I hope our new DoF is identifying replacements2 points
-
wow Morelos 20 goals already this season. If he stays fit he could be pushing 40 by the end of the season!!2 points

All 3 easily deserve another year.2 points

Truly pathetic. I would be embarrassed if one of ours did that.2 points

The play where he glanced the post with a curling effort was wonderful.2 points

I was desperate for Kent to score. I just love watching him. He has all the skills and tricks. If he can add goals to his game (which he needs to), he will be up there with Morelos as one of our most dangerous players.2 points

I'm happy to see Davis get a new contract. I'm undecided about McGregor. Although his contribution has been great I would like to see us bring through a younger goalkeeper. I would guess that his new contract is a sign that we don't have an alternative ready to come in yet.2 points

He was much better in the second half but there were a good few wayward passes in the first half again? He actually reminds me a bit of Ted McMinn? I hope he and Kent continue to swap wings the way they are doing?1 point

You saw Davis running the show today and wouldn't know his age. There simply are guys like him, Defoe and Miller, who are as fit as it gets and can keep this level for longer than your average footballer1 point

It was a joy to see Kent back in business and he did make a big contribution ... but perhaps not the biggest one. I took greater pleasure from seeing our captain continuing to improve and his counterpart on the left side also had a very good game. But I won't be voting for any of those players. ?1 point

I'm looking forward to the MotM poll going up for the Hearts game. As the resident Kent fan boy it will give me great pleasure to give him his first vote of many this season. That front three of Kent, Ojo and Morelos is a nightmare for defences, especially if they open up. We need to really go for it against that other lot. If we do we will beat them comfortably I feel.1 point

He was a player who really disappointed me with the way he left Rangers, I loved the guy as a Rangers player, he is nothing but vermin to me now1 point

And isn't it 10 in Europe? Including the crucial winner in the play off against Legia and the equaliser in Porto.1 point

A great result and good game, legs sore from standing and then walk to transport. One sour note is regards to flare thrown from where Union Bears flag area which almost hit a camera man, hope they find the silly bastard that threw it.1 point

As long as it’s only one year contracts then no problem1 point

McLean(sp) should have been sent off, any decent ref would have done that. Hard to pick a MOTM, Jack outstanding again, Davis strolled the match, Kent unplayable at times, and Morelos is just top class, very good team performance again, we just keep on driving forward, SG is having a brilliant effect on Rangers, still hard to believe we have a world footballing superstar in charge of Rangers! he isn't getting the credit/respect he is due in the Republic of Scotland.1 point

Totally agree Ian. Shagger was going ballistic in front of us during the second half. It could have been 5/6 in the end and another good performance. I thought Kent was our best player today until he was taken off although Alfie was exception again.1 point

Looks like he's got a serious bout of bad acting1 point

So now we know. We're going to be playing them twice before this year ends. And there lies the real challenge. And the real proof of where we are. I feel we and they are currently closely matched so it may come down to form and strategy on the day.1 point
-
Really pleased with that. We dominated pretty much from start to finish but getting the two goals either side of half-time was a real bonus as Hearts were always going to be stuffy. After that it became a training game for us and it was good to be able to take Kent and Jack off early. Just a pity we couldn't grab another goal our two that our dominance reflected. A job well done though and another small step on the way to achieving success.1 point

Solid, comfortable win. It was never in doubt for me.1 point

Naismith has just elbowed Goldson in the face, the dirty b*st*rd. Inevitably Jack sticks up for him, and they both get a yellow.1 point

Take a bow Ryan Kent. Great performance! Aribo on in his place.1 point

Kent's looking really good for a guy that's not fit. Ah--comes off now, unfortunately. Excellent contribution today.1 point

Agreed. He will prove to be worth the money paid for him, very unlucky when his strike hit the post. Thing is with a player like him the opposition are terrified when he gets the ball as he is very quick, can go on either foot so even if he is not having a good game the opposition are shit scared of him, we should be feeding him the ball every time1 point

Helander was anticipating that from Morelos. Fantastic.1 point

I think our tempo is fine. Our decision-making is off, and the final ball.1 point

Big surprise Ikpeazu isn't starting but McLean will offer a similar threat in attack with extra experience. Pleased with our team: enough strength in midfield with pace and creativity in attack. 'Mon then!1 point

The pitch is going to be like a ploughed field tomorrow!1 point

Laughable? think you're wrong there, Flanagan & Halliday were better options at that time due to Barisic poor form, SG obviously agreed and picked Flanagan/Halliday before him and both actually played well enough to keep him out of the team. I think we all knew he was a player, but his early form was poor1 point
