  1. Steven Davis has played 57 times (for club and country) this season. What a hero. That is all.

  2. Ra Hoops trudge off the hallowed turf a well beaten outfit. A fitting OF swansong for Lego and The Bravest Man in Football reverts to type and blames the referee for his side’s woes. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch. We toyed with them at times and had a gear or two to slide into. Their rebuild job is sizeable to say the least, as you could argue that they need practically a whole team of new players. If Stevie, Ross and the board get it right in the summer, there is a great opportunity to put some daylight between us and them. Enjoy the rest of your day brothers and sisters, I know I will.

  4. 1st equal MOTM award goes to Roofe, Morelos, Davis, Barisic, Kent, McGregor, Tavernier, Simpson, Goldson, Kamara, Aribo, Defoe, Wright, Hagi

  5. Great performance. Great result. All about getting us ready for next season now. Players will come in, players will go out. However I’ve every confidence in our DoF & manager to improve us again next season when we’ll have CLQ’s to look forward to. Took time to get us where we are today and our opponents today will soon realise that rebuilding a club structure and a team takes time & isn’t a given. Heres to the champions & to the new season ahead... ? ?

  7. Later in the week, I will do a more substantial post on today's broadcast utterances from PQ. Suffice to say, Liam McLeod commentating from a screen in a PQ office made a complete ham shank of the game. It took him several minutes to realise McGregor had been red carded. He explained that he was NOT in the Stadium and thus could not be responsible for missing the dismissal. His accompanying Posse of fellow Dandies and Yahoos missed it too, because they all had their heads in their hands. Of course, the priority was filling car spaces for the drive to Erskine Bridge, all understandable. Anyways, at half time, we were no longer playing ra Sellik. Liam gave the half time report and score as, "Rangers two, ten man Celtic one". This continued throughout the second half. The empirical evidence suggests Liam is a thirty 'ten man Celtic' a day man. Oh and Liam thought 'ten man Celtic' were deserving of more goals? I wonder if Liam's commentary will survive on to tonight's Sportscene?

  8. He’s left it late to have the season of his life for club and country. I know it’s an old fashioned notion but Steven Davis is what every Rangers player should aspire to be.

  9. Kent is like nothing Scottish football has seen since the 60s. Different level and superb today.

  10. A fine team performance with several excellent individual displays. I thought Davis was imperious, Tav was very good, whilst Roofe and Morelos ensured we caused them problems. But Kent was MotM surely? What a player we have there. Incredible!

  12. Spot on mate. I, like every other Rangers fan, was gutted getting knocked out of the cup, but today certainly eased that pain. We have had a tremendous season all in, have dominated the league and pissed all over the BEASTS, humiliated them all season, and things are only going to get better from now on!. The desire from our club, manager & backroom staff to keep improving is going to make us even better/stronger for a long time, regardless of what any other team does. It is a good time to be a Rangers fan with a lot more to come.

  16. Delighted with that. OK, Celtic had their chances again but we played so well at times in that game and the work-rate from players who really should be having a rest (Davis, Barisic and Kamara) really was top, top class. Yes, you can say we maybe should have scored more but we had no way to refresh the midfield and we were right to contain them. A fine result and a great season. Enjoy yer day, bears!

  17. No room for complacency here. This ref has more cards in him.

  18. I don't care for the 'player X couldn't get a game for Y club, so he's not good enough for us' argument. We discussed this at the time, but Bournemouth had a settled side for several years and played in the PL. It's not really a surprise that he couldn't get a game. What's interesting is that Eddie Howe wanted to keep the lad around when they were in the PL. I think he's looked quite good in the little I've seen. He looks composed on the ball and has a turn of pace, which is what we need.

  19. Simpson did fine overall. A wee bit culpable at the goal and was careless a couple of times in the 2nd half when clearing the ball would have been a more prudent option but generally he played OK and he can be happy with his day's work.

  20. What a day. What a season. Stating the bloody obvious but it is such a pity the fans have not been able to witness the achievements of this team.

  22. He did well in his first OF game. Hopefully will take confidence from today because I do worry we’ll lose Helander in the summer.

  32. Hopefully we muster up a good showing today. Apart from a decent little spell in tbe cup game, our last 3 OF performances have been mightily underwhelming IMO. We need Roofe, Kent, Morelos and Aribo to be on it today. And can we please try to get in behind as opposed to lobbing in one pointless cross after the other. Yes, I'm looking at you Borna. Really want Roofe to be influential. After a lot of promise, his season has fizzled out because of injuries. Almost fulfilling all the prophecies from Leeds fans when he signed. Could we go with Wright today? Unknown quantity for the Tims

  34. Normally OG games are occasions for great anxiety. I'm not feeling that now, not out of any sense of over-confidence but just because there isn't really anything at stake. The important issue was decided weeks ago. I would still hate to lose though as Celtic fans would act like they'd done their precious 10.

  35. The problem with sectarianism in Scotland is that it’s always someone else or the other side. Never the accuser who is often masking their own prejudices. After over half a century on this planet I came to the conclusion long ago that anti-bigots are themselves bigots, anti-fascists are themselves fascist and so on. And Scotland is infested with plenty of these individuals, especially in its media. Pondlife who make all sorts allegations but won’t debate openly when challenged. And whose mask inevitably slips when it’s Rangers and think they can spew their bile and hatred without fear of punishment from authorities who nowadays are themselves are infested with similar pondlife And don’t get me started on the corrupt organisations that are UEFA & FIFA. Promoting anti-racism and fair play on the outside but doing all sorts grubby deals behind the scenes. Just look at Blatter and Platini at UEFA or the seven FIFA delegates arrested by Swiss police at the 65th FIFA anniversary in 2015 and you’ll know what I mean. I’d bet one of the reasons those 12 clubs proposed the ESL (although certainly not the main one) was to get shot off UEFA. Can’t say I blame them.
