  1. If you think a large proportion of young players come to Rangers from outside Scotland to spend the rest of their career here, I would be very surprised. The only mistake he has made, is making the comment in a newspaper, but as previously mentioned, he's probably not aware of the goldfish bowl...

  3. Bowler hats in the stand. My old father was a Spiders fan. Luckily that was one example I didn’t follow.

  5. He's arguably the only match winner we had this season, and arguably POTY. He's still young and learning, not unlike Aribo and Bassey and look at the way they progressed, and Tillman probably had more potential. Aribo struggled with OF games in his first season and learned a lot and I'd hope that Tillman could progress and be able to shine in these games. It is a lot of cash and it is a risk but if we can afford it then I'd say go for it.

  6. The thing about Tillman is that, while he's undoubtedly technically talented and creative, I don't think he's committed to delivering the level of graft we need in this league. Which is why he usually only shines against poorer opposition and is unlikely to relish another season in Scottish football. £5m or anything like it would be a ridiculous use of scarce resources at a time when we need such a big squad restructuring.

  8. I understand why Gersnet doesn't want to ask members to contribute but I can't understand why members don't decide for themselves that something like £10 or £20 per year towards cost is a good idea. A poll perhaps?

  9. Irrelevant. I've no interest in his aspirations, only what comes out of his mouth and it wouldn't have changed the worth of his ambitions if he'd shown some respect to the club paying his wages.

  10. You really want a guy whose highest aspiration is Rangers? Let's be real. "Oh yes my dream is to be in the SPFL and play the rhat catchers five times a year." We all know the truth...levels are levels. We want young, hungry players who can shine at our club and be turned for a profit...Bassey Ajax...Aribo...SH...Patterson...Evertoons That would be one of my first questions to a player. "Where do you wanna be in 5 years?" His ass better not be sayin at Rangers. Cause that doesn't make me or him any better. Raskin is goal oriented and knows that in order to move to Chelsea he will have to produce at a high level.

  14. I remember an old Queen’s Park player Davie Letham telling me that the language was a bit more gentlemanly back in his day instead of the shout being kick him in the baws it was more nudge him in the cobblers .

  15. I hope he gets his big move to Chelsea! it would mean he has performed for Rangers. I remember GVB saying similar when he signed for us, he performed well and got his move to Arsenal.

  17. Ochilview. QP guesting there. Where do OP fans come from? In old times they were genteel southside burghers. The few hundred there last night looked and sounded a bit posh.

  18. Maybe open themselves up to Liverpool complaining about the way they were being swindled out of a clause? Can't see a legal route they would have, but you never know with modern day football contracts...

  19. Surely his ambitions are higher than mid to lower EPL teams (sorry @ChelseaBoy)

  20. Good for him. 110 million they paid for Enzo Fernandez. I’d take that for Nico
