  1. Tav says you come to Rangers to win trophies. Not doing very well on that front.

  2. I remember a similar run under big eck where we hadn't beat them for some time, then went to their place and won 2-0. Vignal and Novo scoring if i recall. Big difference being back then we lacked quality but had the heart. I think we have the quality now but lack the heart and mentality.

  4. I can't fault the logic. It is one of those 'unwritten rules' that repeatedly happens in sport. I think back to the Hampden semi final of 2016, a perfect example. However, I don't think that this Celtic team are going to drop their guard, in terms of approach to the game. That would put the onus on ourselves to up our levels (especially at the start of the game) and probably change our approach to the game. Easier said than done with this group of players. To have a punchers chance, I think he really needs to change the tactics and instill fresh hope into his squad and some uncertainty, into the other lot. Go the same way and it will get ugly, during and after the match.

  5. We've been saying that for the past 10 years.

  6. I laughed at @Rousseau’s Windass post above but I saw him in a televised FA Cup match for Wednesday last season. Scored and generally played with courage, determination and a fair amount of skill. I might pick that Windass ahead of any of the current Rangers forwards apart from McAusland.

  7. I've never known such a low key build up to an Old Firm Scottish Cup Final. Is it due to them being 100% convinced they are going to win and us being 100% convinced we are going to lose?

  8. I see the English manager has left out Rashford Sterling and Henderson three of his favorites a lot of younger players are in so that’s a good thing in my book . mon the three lions. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  9. I agree tbf, but it's just the nature of football in Glasgow. Zinedine Zidane could come in, but if he kept getting pumped off Celtic he'd be chased out just like anyone else. It's the reason why Gerrard got so much time let's have it right. That and Europe.

  10. Clement needs time and our patience. Unfortunately, our expectation levels aren't in tune with current reality. IMO Clement is as good a manager as we are getting and we should let him put his own side together next season without the expectation of a league title in his first full season with a new squad. Hope, yes but expectation, no. Alternatively, we can continue on the current path to nowhere, but at least we'll have high expectations.

  12. Strange that Aberdeen should produce two world class swimmers in quick succession to one another.

  13. He would just get injured again if he was selected. Let’s just keep him fresh for Scotland.

  15. It's our strongest area. Scotland and Rangers have equally missed a fit Ryan Jack. He's the best defensive midfielder available to both.

  17. Worryingly good players. Not convinced that Southgate is the man, though.
