  1. He's just retweeting a Sofascore feature about brothers. The disrespect shown to Tavernier is rediculous.

  2. I think a lot of them are full of shit. Look at that Swedish clown Helander. The way they talked while he was here you'da thought he was a Jerry's kid or somethin. "Oh he has to go see a specialist in Zurich to get a orangutan's thumb grafted into his lower leg...his condition is genetic ya noo" Heard he is knockin it out of the park over in Malmo...must be them meatballs. Probably skipped to the airport on his way out of town.

  3. Why would he say that? if you really think Tav is the weakest link then it's you who has the problem!. Tav is the best RB in the league!.

  4. Yes! Brother! We must fight back against these dinosaurs! Together!

  5. Saw someone mention that Utd were 8/1 for the win. Predict that to someone in 2008 and they'd have brought back lobotomy.

  6. You might be right but this is just another reason why football is generally less interesting to watch than it used to be. It's too tactical and formulaic (mirrored in the stands by the ultras, in their matching outfits, with ubiquitous chants and identical behaviour).

  7. Hopefully he's fit for the transfer window

  8. What a difference 8 days make. We very likely will be playing losers.

  9. Celtic are direct rivals for the Scottish cup so this is a six pointer.

  10. Manager said in the official press conference he wouldn't discuss individual player injury status then goes and speaks to the written press and gives up individual player injury status. He is losing the plot, will 100% play Lundstram and Barisic tomorrow if both are fit and if we lose I for one will lose confidence in him.

  11. Keep chasing the managers out and see where that gets the club.... Perhaps a combination of Sunderland and Espanyol.

  12. Outside of Rangers a hero in my city (for the blue half) is Gil Merrick. From Sparkhill, played over 700 games for the Blues and played for England. He then managed City to their first major trophy against Villa in the League Cup. Also managed a win in the San Siro in 60/61 v Inter. You won't get that again in football - unless Tyrick Mitchell for Palace leads them to a League Cup win against Millwall in 20 years time.

  13. Pat Stanton must be contender for Hibs’ best ever. He was so good I overlook the blip at the end of his career.

  14. Talking mesmerist above reminded me of Willie Hamilton, Hearts then Hibs.

  15. Some papers and television pundits call players legends after one decent season but these blokes were special.

  16. There's no chance Tav won't start, so any discussions about it are largely irrelevant.

  17. Tbf I've always given the manager the benefit of the doubt for having Sterling at RW to help cover Tav. But then surely you're just sacrificing an attacker in that case? If he's that much of an issue drop him. Which he is, and he should be. My team: Butland Sterling Balogun Davies Fraser Raskin Diomande McCausland Cantwell Silva Dessers Points of Contention: Tav needs dropped. Self explanatory. Balogun comes in if fit. Borna and Celtic, enough said. Silva actually did well at Sharkhead imo and deserves a start.

  19. An experienced Dutch assistant manager/coach. I don't know much about him. Anyone's better than Alex Rae!

  21. It's concerning. I'm getting Warburton - do Plan A better - vibes, which I don't like. Unless you have the best players in the world, you need to adapt.

  23. I reckon Barisic and Lundstram will both start.

  24. Seem to remember deciding to support them when we brought Balogun back. Can't remember if they are my second team or my first team.

  25. Clement needs time and our patience. Unfortunately, our expectation levels aren't in tune with current reality. IMO Clement is as good a manager as we are getting and we should let him put his own side together next season without the expectation of a league title in his first full season with a new squad. Hope, yes but expectation, no. Alternatively, we can continue on the current path to nowhere, but at least we'll have high expectations.

  26. I remember a similar run under big eck where we hadn't beat them for some time, then went to their place and won 2-0. Vignal and Novo scoring if i recall. Big difference being back then we lacked quality but had the heart. I think we have the quality now but lack the heart and mentality.

  27. I remember newsreel footage of the FA Cup semi at Hillsborough. Len Shackleton for Sunderland wrecked the Blues’ outfield defence but Merrick kept them out. Unfortunately for Brum he couldn’t do the same to Bobby Johnstone in the Final.

  29. I wonder if the manager has the balls to say Tav you are the weakest link goodbye and play Sterling in that position .

  30. 'Relationism' is it? It sounds like a woke neologism for incest, and that particular, peculiar, peccadillo is, sadly, nothing new. But, for the avoidance of doubt: Merely because no cu nt on this forum, other than the Douanier, has heard of 'relationism', we may not assume that it is a 'New Thang'.

  38. I have got zero enthusiasm for this game. So probably be Davies and Balogun or even worse Davies and King then probably add in BB into that shambles

  40. I agree tbf, but it's just the nature of football in Glasgow. Zinedine Zidane could come in, but if he kept getting pumped off Celtic he'd be chased out just like anyone else. It's the reason why Gerrard got so much time let's have it right. That and Europe.

  41. FFS. We must be the most predictable and gullible fan base in the world. We have literally had the league in our hands and shat the bed but hey let's get distracted with another orange strip. It's not quite up there with the Charles Green fans Q and A from yesteryear. Our club was getting ran sacked before our eyes by a bunch of crooks and one of the first questions from one of our fans was "Are we getting an orange strip?". Jesus wept. No wonder Green and Co were laughing all the way to the bank.
