  1. If you can not ignore criticism then you should not be at Rangers.

  2. I don't hold with booing or harassing players. My issue with him is his skillset doesn't suit what we need. He can't hold the ball up, he can't link play, can't create space for himself or others and he misses so many chances. He has 5 goals (League and Europe) from an xG of 9.4. That's a huge underperformance.

  3. He’s our top scorer this season but most would be happy for him to leave. He misses many chances but scores some good goals. He keeps going but occasionally shows his frustration. Whatever you think of Dessers, I don’t hold with the derision that is meted out to him. This happens with other players too but Dessers is the main recipient. I find this derision, particularly by supporters at the match, somewhat unbecoming. It is said in some quarters that his confidence is low and this adds to his poor decision making in front of goal. If this is true then when he misses an easy chance, after our initial cry of anquish it does not help to constantly barrack him. When someone is low and out of sorts they need supported, not hounded. I’m sure the management and his team mates are doing their bit to support him. I just wish our supporters had a tad more understanding.

  4. I think deep down we all know Cyriel Dessers does not win us titles or even trophies. Going forward we need better and that goes for all our strikers imo

  6. Maybe off topic but I see that Fabio Silva scored the winner v Barcelona! Who was it who said that when you leave Rangers the only way is down?

  7. That is just so unfair. They won’t turn the cows onto a ploughed field.

  8. Nah, we'll be back to struggling against a low block.

  9. Worth adding that St Johnstone's pitch is notoriously bad this time of the year.

  11. Maybe we should hold off a bit, might be a bit too soon to judge. He might still come good.

  12. Correct it's the whole that wins titles and until we get one it won;t happen. EG. The defence is a PROPPER mess and not a full Diamomd(e) at #10,

  13. All strikers miss easy chances and he is no exception. My bigger concern is his poor link up play and he is too static most of he time

  14. I don't have the cup game data, which is why I couldn't include it.

  15. Suppose someone had to fill the space left by Lammers so Dessers gets it but Propper not far behind.

  16. Just get the ball forward and get bodies in the box, it’s not rocket science. Maybe tomorrow will be the day we get a goal from a set piece?

  17. Probably with Tav and Dessers back in the starting eleven

  18. He was right by a mile, it was good for an initial period but has got way out of hand now. I think at the turn of the millennium was when it started to become to commercial. Foreign owners dont care who sits in the 50000 seats per game so long as they are full which means tourists and non loyal long term supporters. This shows with the gap between clubs now. Just a few short years ago when there was empty stadiums everyone was saying how important fans are but thats been forgotten already.

  21. Didnt realise there was a top of the table clash last night. Sheff Utd go top with a win against Sunderland who havent won in 7. Sheff Utd now 5 clear of 3rd and they started the season -2 points so they are obviously the team to beat now.

  22. By jings it’s looking good it’s about sixty years ago that the toffees played Rangers in some kind of British championship game they gave Rangers a football lesson at Ibrox Alec Young playing like a football magician they won three goals to one but it might have been more a night of the slow handclap I’m afraid .

  23. Only saw the goals but delighted with the win. Igamane was a breath of fresh air and Cerny keeps doing it.
