AFAIK the SFA compliance officer can only cite incidents of simulation or violence from games the referee may have missed and rescind red cards or reduce to yellows. Nothing more. From the yahoos v hibs game last week the compliance officer has offered a hubs player a 2 game ban for a tackle he received a yellow card for by the referee. The compliance officer cannot do this as it is out with her remit. Questions need to be asked about this. What we need now is clubs(including Rangers) to step up & get the compliance officer role within the SFA abolished. It is very clear which club initiated this position within the SFA and its reasons for doing so. The games which the compliance officer selects for analysis inevitably don’t have incidents involving Celtic players up for scrutiny We now have the third person in this compliance officer role & three have been lawyers & Celtic ST holders. I do think that should itself raise questions. The SFA, under the guidance/influence of Peter Lawwell over the past few years I’d suggest , spent years convincing both UEFA & FIFA about the merits of a compliance officer before getting the go-ahead. Why this position is needed is beyond me because surely the referees supervisor (a guy calledJohnFlrming last I heard) could deal with this. What we’re seeing now is blatant corruption & bias within Scottish football. My only hope is those currently within Rangers will join with other clubs to fight this & get the compliance officer abolished

Any time I hear Warburton's name I think about that embarrassment in the SC final. That will always sum him up for me.

If Allan McGregor’s appeal fails next week he should immediately inform the SFA he no longer wishes to be considered for Scotland international squads. We need to start somewhere to challenge this corrupt compliance officer nonsense

I think we all agree it was a poor performance. But, when you consider how well we defended, and slogged it out against a difficult opponent, in difficult conditions, then I see a positive there. In seasons past we would've capitulated. I still expect us to be beating this team, though.

Id like to mention defoes ridiculous dive. As bad as burks if not worse. Burk at least was fouled 5 yards back from going down. Never want to see that again and thank god we didnt get a pen for it.

Just a coincidence. Celtic are a "separate entity" from their ST holders who just happen to sit on compliance panels that are meant to be independent. And their nutjob fans have the cheek to declare there are conspiracies against Celtic. You couldn't make this shit up. A CO from outside Scotland should be the minimum requirement. Nobody should hold their breath that the corrupt SFA will display any sense any time soon.

The problem was he was left with too many players of championship class and I think he and King did not see eye to eye and so he got little budget to improve.

I bear Warburton no grudges, he gave us a memorable Championship winning season including a cup win over the yahoos. But there is indeed a difference between him and Gerrard. When Gerrard was asked about winning the league he more or less said he was looking to win everything we played in. Even when everyone including all of us had no expectation of reaching the EL group stages he insisted he was looking to do it and then achieved it.

It’s not referees from outside Scotland we need Brendan. It’s a compliance officer from outside Scotland we need. To date, all three we’ve had have been lawyers & ST holders at Celtic Park. Is that just coincidence Brendan ? Certainly did you a big favour last Wednesday against Hibs didn’t she?

VAR will undoubtedly be used to further consolidate the entrenched bias against Ranger. Like every other "safeguard" in Scottish football, it will only ever be as good or bad as the people who operate it ... and we know for sure what their allegiances will be.
