At the time I didn't notice quite how well executed that back heel flick from Hagi was. I did notice at the time that Alfie should have put that away.

I thought it was a good work out for us, Coventry played like most teams will when they come to Ibrox, sit & defend stubbornly. Aribo was class again and scored another great goal, Hagi was class as well and has a tremendous work ethic, Edmundson had another good game. Morelos played well I thought but failed to score again, young Paterson is looking better every time I see him and defo has a good future ahead of him, and us.

When he did that against Braga I was like ok, but I have now seen him do that on three different occasions...two in the last two weeks. I think he means it.

Tav and Alfredo's pre-season form is a worry. Both look off the pace, struggling for form and confidence.

Do they really though , how many players from the premiership , come up here and struggle , also it’s easier to play in a league where the pressure to win simply isn’t there . Also I would argue the quality in the championship is that much higher than the SPFL .

Remember David running through on to a ball in a pre-season friendly at Roker Park, he didn't hesitate, lobbed the keeper from thirty yards. He wheeled and joined the Bears in celebration. His joy was our joy, it's how we should remember him.
