  2. I know what you’re getting at, Rab and you’re right. The trouble is, that for two seasons they’ve been Rangers beaters and pretty much trouncers of every other club in the league. The fact that they’re not world beaters means that it should be within Rangers’ grasp to overtake them again.

  4. I think the loss in the Europa League final had an impact on the players and the fans. I am still scunnered about it because we could have won that game. This was compounded by the absolute hammerings we got in Europe this season. The atmosphere has been flat for most of the season. We need a performance and a victory against them and in the Scottish Cup to lift the place.

  5. Thankful for him stepping up and financially helping us out of oblivion with others. Will be remembered fondly as our chairman for 55 and that run to Seville. timing a bit suspect though.

  6. That was so predictable. Let's see the stats at the end of the season showing how often that creep referees them. He is a disgrace but that will continue until we speak up.

  7. 50/50, for me. It's still the best league, though.

  9. The toffees should have taken advantage of the Spurs turmoil at the moment and secured the three points.

  10. Below is an extract from an article from 2021 when he initially invested John Halstead, a UK-based 56-year old executive, is listed as the owner of the shares held by Perron – this entity appears to be his own individual investment arm. Harvard educated Halstead is a managing partner at Pamplona Investments LLC, an international equity house which “has raised five private equity funds with total committed capital of $11 billion since its inception in 2005.”

  11. Since they won the league it has been a long slippery slope downwards and now look to be falling off end of it.

  12. I wonder if one or two others will follow. Change is definitely needed. We’ve become top heavy in staffing numbers in both the football & non-football departments these past few years in my view.

  13. Despite his best endeavours including one of the most patently biased performances ever we've never lost an Old Firm game with him in the middle. We should be more concerned with Walsh on VAR.

  18. It was a Dyche-led Everton against a confidence-sapped, caretaker-led Tottenham. What were you expecting?

  19. Kieran Maguire tweeted: "Rangers issue 7.7 million shares at 25 pence each. "Not clear if for cash or loans converted to equity." They're only worth £1.93M - if they are for cash.

  22. Everton draw 1-1 with ‘Spurs at Goodison and rocket up the table to fifteenth place with twenty seven points four ahead of So’ton at the foot. Palace are twelfth with thirty points. Two defeats for them and two wins for So’ton and the gap is a single point. Very unsettling for nine clubs. By this time in the season it’s usually four, maybe five, contemplating the drop.

  23. If he was educated at Harvard we'll be having mental health seminars, climate justice ideas showers and diversity and inclusion thought bombs every five minutes. In all seriousness, why is he investing in Rangers? Is he one of us?

  25. A poor transfer window last summer & a load of injuries caused us to regress badly in the first few months of the season. Beale has stopped the slide but will be judged what he does(or gets allowed to do)in the summer transfer window ahead. The yahoos are a club who thrive on media hype and self fanaticism. They are no world beaters
