  1. So many poor performances in the 1st half. People picking out individuals, where it was the collective performance that was so bad / frustrating. I would say only Dessers got pass marks in the opening 45mins. The starting 11 was questionable, as we had no ballance or width, the press was all wrong, mid-field was missing and our wide players were too narrow. For once, our keeper looked suspect and shaky but did pull off a few decent saves. 2nd half was better, especially with Sima, Matondo and Cantwell on, we actually looked a threat. We got ourselves back level, then Sterling and Butland contrived to hand Celtic the lead again. Hat's off to Matondo for his incredible equaliser. All in all a hugely frustrating day, an opportunity to get our noses in front but can't help feel the team selection and then the woeful collective 1st half performance ultimately cost us 3 points today.

  2. I agree, he's the only outfield player who I thought tried to put a foot in and win his duels.

  3. Tom English is quite fair at times but on that occasion he really made himself look like an idiot. McCoist said nothing of the sort - he wasn't specific at all and didn't even mention songs. Right, Rangers - let's get into these disgusting, paedo harbouring, terrorist loving scum!

  4. The damage is the opportunity spurned to go two points ahead with a game in hand. At this stage of the season that would have been a mighty advantage. All is not lost but it means avoiding defeat at Parkhead. Scraping a draw at home isn’t a good omen for getting one away against the same team.

  5. It was a clear penalty and to be honest I really don't think a broadcaster should claim "cheating" so outwardly. Honestly, I think rangers should be pursuing that one because it is a highly charged game and we don't need that nonsense. The fact he couldn't even take it back when it was so clearly a penalty really stinks to be honest.

  6. Need to stop this passing to each other just outside the penalty box that’s okay if your man city or Arsenal they have real defenders we’ve got a bunch of eejit who are a liability just get the ball up to the half backs and concentrate on defending

  7. I thought overhead conditions played a part in the game today. The team defending the goal at the Copland road end seemed to have the harder task.Us in the first half, them in the second. That said the first & third goals we lost today were horrendous. We are conceding too many goals, particularly at ibrox. We have seven games left with probably only two of them at ibrox. It looks likely we’ll need to take something when we visit Celtic park. I’d hope the team on that day will be more like the one that finished today rather than the one that started. We need to learn how to use matondo better

  8. Silva's theatrics don't help his cause but there's no doubt it was a penalty. Some of his diving and rolling around after other incidents was cringeworthy.

  9. For what it's worth, I thought Dessers was decent considering the poor service he was given. He wasn't wasteful and pressed for the whole game. Unlucky not to get a goal.

  10. Tell you what...I detest VAR. Should only be used for goal line decisions.

  11. A draw before the game is a failure. A draw from the hole we were in? Pretty good. It's still in our hands.

  12. Apart from not reading the ball, not being aware of the danger, delaying the clearance and eventually whacking the ball off the celtic player and into our net. Apart from all that, it wasn't his fault!

  13. English seizes upon one possible out of many interpretations of McCoist’s words and runs round the room brandishing it over his head and refusing to let go. I had a golden retriever once who did that with folks’ cushions when I took him visiting.

  14. The same old thing was highlighted right from the start our defenders let’s hope the manager has the money to replace them all for next season because them at present just haven’t a clue about defending .

  15. Think the criticism of Diamonde from some is a bit OTT. He wasn't the worst player by a long shot and feel that he at least was trying to be positive (balls around the corner, turning on the ball). He improved in the 2nd half but genuinely he was let down by the players around him today IMO.

  16. I'm pretty sure Celtic were undefeated one season when we won the league. 96 or something?

  17. That's it when all is said and done. Today was a missed opportunity that I suspect we'll regret because our record at the Piggery is dire and the players proved even Clement can't fix the mentality issue when we play that lot.

  18. 1 point out of 9 against a poor Celtc side and people think drawing with them at Ibrox (with no away fans) is a good result? I'm genuinely shocked by that. Not good enough. Nowhere near it.

  19. The team that finished the game was much closer to the line-up that should have started the game. It was an error today from Clement.

  20. On the bus back home and it still feels like a defeat. Might think differently when had time to reflect on the game. Just can't see us winning the league without beating them at least once.

  21. As much as Silva likes to be dramatic when under any sort of contact, why was this penalty up for debate? He clearly kicks him on the knee.

  22. Correct!. For me it is a better result for us than them!.

  23. How? There is no damage done. We could have lost the league today.

  24. By then Sima will have more minutes in his legs. (Silva is not working IMO.) Ridvan may also be back. And we will have more space. Celtic barely got across the half way line in the 2nd half. Either way Tav and Goldson need a good shake. They were poor today.

  26. Still can't beat them, so there's nothing to be happy about. Sick of the sight of Connor Goldson.

  27. A damning trait of this team has always been letting a ball bounce uncontested. Old but golden rule: don't let the fucking thing bounce!

  28. Yip. Keep booing the team. That will help. We have 45 minutes to get something from the game. As much as we've been awful, if we draw, nothing gas been lost.

  29. We start like sloths. They come out charged up after 2 or 3 Red Bulls. Will we ever learn ?

  38. Normally, a draw feels like a defeat, today, it feels like a win. Still top of the league if we win our game in hand.

  39. It's a pen, it's a foot to the nads. There is no discussion, Sutton is completely wrong. Silva is a wimp though and the original card was clearly a reaction to his theatrics.
