I had 300 quid each way on a 13/2 winner the other day. Profit of 2560, sweet. Coupon will be this evening's event.....

He will sign a plethora of strikers and wingers again - I think he is from the 50's when the formation was 2-3-5
-
Really ? That is unreal !
-
No disrespect to Birmingham but Newcastle would be a better move for him IMO. Bigger club and they likely will pay him more too.

I dont think Weir was coming in as a squad filler, did you ? OUr central defence was a bombscare... so I never thought he was here just to be a squad filler
-
I think Dailly would be a better squad filler than Ehiogu, but not likely to shift Weir or Cuellar. Nothing more than a squad filler, hopefully a cheap one, and hopefully one we don't have to call upon !

I alsmot wrote an email to Setanta the other week after something Booth said - it was so obviously anti-Rangers biased that it annoyed me that much. Was going to ask them if they would ever consider having someone commentate who actually knew what they were talking about !

GREAT suggestion - gives them a post-football career
-
You would have to think that Keegan recognised that from his last spell and would correct it ?
-
Would you move down there though ?
-
Agreed Mike - the 51 mill seems like a helluva lot of money if it is just to increase the stadium capacity by 6,000 - but the main thrust of this is additional income streams from the hotel and selling/renting the flats.

Rangers involved in forming the European club association
craig replied to calscot's topic in Rangers Chat
Maybe we could get a rise out of them and suggest that G14 is being dissolved BECAUSE of them....... no-one wanted them in so decided to disband instead. -
Are you sure ? I saw an article which mentioned 5 mill - but the person suggesting 5 mill was Gary O Connor who said " a bid of 5 mill should secure his services so I hope the board and chairman can find the cash" Could be wrong though.

No worries my man, I knew you would know anyway - was a poor brief post due to being harassed by auditors at work !
-
I wasnt stating what they should do, just what they could do, and the only piece they NEED to keep is the frontage.

IMO if we want to get an able LB in who is natural in the position then we should get someone on loan. No point in spending in an area which has a very able player coming back from injury, or you end up with an expensive bench warmer,

It can be rebuilt as long as it retains the red brick facade.

Just the facilities and stadium I believe - the pitch is not covered

Not sure Fred..... :fish: We went for 5 days but managed to crash a lot of the touristy sites in a day. 1. Obviously Eiffel Tower (I would go earlier as it gets mobbed later in the day) 2. Notre Dame cathedral was pretty cool 3. good view from Arc de Triomphe 4. A dinner cruise down the Seine is meant to be good too. 5. Place du Concorde and walking from there through the Tuileries Gardens was nice (if you go that way I think it is en route to Eiffel Tower) 6. Dinner or drinks on the Champs Elysees was really nice - very relaxing just watching the world go buy with a beer or wine. 7. We did the Louvre (primarily to see Mona Lisa) and I was more impressed with the artwork on the way to the room which houses Mona Lisa (wasnt overly impressed by Mona Lisa and you could hardly see anything for all the asian tourists) 8. We did Euro Disney which was ok but a fair hike just to go to a theme park 9. We were going to go to a graveyard which has a fair number of deceased celebrities in it including Jim Morrison - a bit morbid I know. Never got there as the metro station we were going through was closed, so we had to get off and on at a different station. Anyway, the station we had to get off at was right next to the Moulin Rouge - however, it is true red light stuff there - thankfully we were there during the day but it still is very seedy - so if going to see Moulin Rouge I would go during the day. One place I really wanted to go to but we didnt as we needed to go by train was the Palace at Versailles - steeped in history and looked very cool from the Frommers I used as research. We went to a topless revue which the Mrs wasnt looking forward to - but once you saw the act itself you barely noticed they were topless, very professional, would recommend it - cant remember the name of the place though. I could probably come up with more if you like.

When we went 10 yrs ago I tried to ask directions to the metro in the lingo (only did French till 2nd year at high school) and I was so convincing the woman responded to me in French and I had no fucking idea what she was saying - thankfully she was also making hand signals. The Mrs pissed herself laughing at me !

Funny, in my original post I was going to say Paris is awesome except it is full of French folk - I agree about Parisians, but Paris itself is great !
