  1. It's what would be done if they were preparing for a sale. I had always wondered what would b done with the shares owned by Murray Sports. This is the answer.
  2. I think that the relevant MIH subsidiary will already have fully provided the amount due, so there should be limited or no impact. King hasn't acquired any liabilities. This has just made things easier for him as he now has control over his shares.
  3. Apparently he definitely out.
  4. I don't see that in itself being the reason. He has always owned his Metlika shares.
  5. Not the easiest things to decipher. I think that the Rangers shares owned by Murray Sports are being transferred out of Murray Sports back into MIH and to Dave King's company. It could be the first stage of a sale. It allows MIH to sell the shares that they didn't have under their umbrella, and also gives Dave King his shares, something he hasn't had before. It could, of course have nothing to do with a sale.
  6. I don't believe Smith ever wanted him at the club, so it's wrong to criticise Smith for Webster IMO.
  7. So if more of us criticised McCulloch, we'd have more traffic on the site? You've an opinion on a player, some of us disagree. That's what it's about. It'd be a boring site if we all agreed on everything.
  8. Yeah, Man Utd were just lucky we played with 10 men against them. Imagine what we would have done if McCulloch hadn't been playing.
  9. And let's not forget our 3-1 win at Parkhead earlier this season, or going to Old Trafford and getting a draw.
  10. So McCulloch has never had a good game for the club in that position?
  11. The timing of all this is relevant, I believe. I think Webster was wanted by PLG and agreed to join us via Wigan. Walter didn't want him, but Webster had put himself out for us and Rangers felt committed to take him. After that, who knows? Possibly a combination of Chilledbear's theory, Webster's apparent lack of bottle and Walter not interested in him anyway.
  12. People can have opinions as to whether McCulloch is an asset to the team or not, but given your previous announcement that you "hate" him, you're obviously not objective and not in a position to assess his worth or otherwise.
  13. He was a big miss when he went off, as Frankie says, and he will be a big absence. I'm hoping he recovers in time.
  14. How do you arrive at that figure? Do we have any idea what we are contributing towards EHD?
  15. :sw::mb::sp: :sd::me::lm::sn: :ehd::nj:
  16. It's quite sad that so many seem to take joy in something that has resulted in Rangers being a weaker team.
  17. I thought he was moving to lower standard of football, according to many. Surely he would be scoring loads if that was the case?
  18. I agree and I wouldn't necessarily move jobs for more money (I haven't even looked at any new job advert for over 15 years), but I would if I was asked to take a pay cut of 30% with no reduction in the work i had to do, and had the opportunity to quadruple my money elsewhere. I defy anyone to say that they would stay in their job under such circumstances. Do you still not have a season ticket? Would the job that you were offered that doubled your money not have given you the chance to make more games? Did you put other issues before supporting your club? Is that not a bit hypocritical? It's very easy to say that. I'd sacrifice playing for Rangers if it meant being able to leave my kids an extra £1m. It's a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.
  19. Yeah, it's crap at the moment, and everyone thinks that we need change but the alternatives are even more crap.
  20. Fans can be objective. Fans can look at things from a realistic viewpoint. Virtually everyone I meet at Ibrox each week is like that.
  21. So your situation and Miller's are totally different. your employer has been good to you. Miller's have asked him to take a 30-50% pay cut. You are really struggling to justify your argument if you are resorting to this kind of comment. Why is playing for Rangers better? "A bit less money"? You call 3 to 4 times less a bit less? So someone who wants to move from Rangers for much more money and looking after his family's future has "warped values"? Sorry, but I don't think that it's Miller who has the warped values in this argument.
  22. I don't get where you are coming from on any of that.
  23. So he's significantly improved but he isn't worth more, and if the rumours are to be believed, he is actually worth less? The club don't show him any loyalty by only offering him a reduced one year deal but you expect him to blindly accept that? You have a weird and unrealistic way of looking at things and I doubt that you would would practice what you preach.
  24. It's a 2 way street. The clubs don't show any loyalty to players, but some fans seem to expect it from some players.
  25. So if someone offered to double your salary and you knew that your main money-making days were only going to last another 4-5 years, you wouldn't move?
