  1. LOL. Hadn't seen that before.
  2. I know him as well, mate, and as Frankie says, a proper gentleman.
  3. Gersnet may not have been able to give the same level of kickback though....
  4. Exactly. It's hardly rocket science. Frankie could have knocked up a form and had it available on this website in 10 minutes, so i can't see why Hibs could not have done something similar.
  5. Honestly? FFS Why the **** should I have to buy the Sun to get tickets for a game. No way, Pedro. I'll just watch it on the box out of principle. It's disgraceful and the whole 5% issue is so ill-thought out.
  6. Great news. John MacMillan is a good guy, and he's got off his backside and done something about a dreadful situation. It's a shame that guys like me will lose out through not getting their allocation through their season ticket though.
  7. Hopefully Ewen will follow up with his threat and report it to the police.
  8. Russell_Nash on FF saw him in there 3 nights before the game. Looks like he eats a lot of pizza.
  9. Correct, and he's been a bit more guarded with his comments ever since.
  10. Above and beyond the call of duty.
  11. I understand it's a lot less than 7 grand.
  12. Far more likely. I'm almost tempted to read the book now. :fish:
  13. St Annes is nice.....
  14. Surely there's got to be a better reason than the fact that he votes for the SNP? Sounds like Smith is trying to Spiersesque, as you suggest, but obviously nowhere near as vituperative about it. As for the SNP's commitment to the Queen, I believe it depends who they are talking to. Quite happy to put it to a vote post-independence. They are after the RC vote as well, as you well know.
  15. A footballer isn't a normal profession, and there are only limited places that you can ply your trade and with a limited period that you can earn your money. Footballers therefore should expect to have to move around and if they don't they shouldn't be in the game.
  16. Celtic fans have previous in this respect. Remember the attacks on the houses of Dallas and McCurry? The address and phone numbers of Andy Davis were also revealed on a Celtic fans' website, together with details of the school that his kids went to.
  17. That's also assuming that it was unprovoked. There have been claims that Lennon started it, which was the reason he initally didn't want to raise a complaint. I haven't a clue what the real situation is but that scenario is as likely as the unprovoked attack, although it's obviously no defence against the battering that he apparently took.
  18. Agreed, mate. It would be nice to think that it would be done.
  19. I remember going out for a drink with the goalie and my wife asked me beforehand if I could get his autograph for her. Halfway through the session I remembered and of course the Goalie obliged. I get home totally out my tree but the wife asks me if I got the autograph. I gave it to her and she looks at bit of paper which says: To Mrs Bluedell Sorry he's drunk! Andy Goram.
  20. The Goalie is normally very protective of his fellow keepers, even ones that play for Celtic, so it shows how bad things have got with Boruc if Goram is publicly slating him.
  21. Yeah, right. It was the Huddleboard, whch has apparently just been taken off-line.
  22. I think it's wrong to expect that the internal workings of a club to be publicised. There are some things which should remain internal. Firstly if the club comes out and says we are getting rid of him because he's crap then it's going to mean we will get less for him if we sell him. It may also put off players coming to the club because they would see a club that highlight their player's deficiencies, or highlight internal problems. It wouldn't do much good for Rangers to have come out and said Gazza didn't play today because he could hardly walk at 12pm. It doesn't do the club or the player any good. I'm not sure about the legality of it in a number of cases anyway. That's why a lot of companies refuse to give references these days. Whatever they say can get used against them in the future. I don't believe that we would always get told of why a minister would be mved from a job. They aren't going to come out and out and say that Darling is being sacked for doing virtually everything wrong over the past 6 months. It may get speculated upon in the press, but theofficial line won't say that.
  23. Craig, 1. Yes, he asked Rangers for a pay-off. 2. Certainly no harm in asking. I'm not sure how it was asked but it certainly scuppered his move to Burnley as part of the Lafferty deal, so I presume it was in the manner of "give me a pay-off or I'm not moving." Perhaps JMS can shed more light on that. It's obviously his choice, and a risk he was willing to take, but he's ended up with arguably a worse move than he would have had if he had gone to Burnley.
  24. LOL. Excellent stuff.
