I seem to remember he remained at the club for a couple of seasons, playing regularly in both youth and reserve teams.

After twelve and half seconds of today's game, I was convinced the Producer of tomorrow night's Sportscene would be on the ham bone to Hibs season ticket holder and Rangers hater, Pat Nevin. I could see the wee bastard in full homage to Harry Potter, clicking and gesticulating that ballpoint pen in wizard wand mode, his rimless specs perched on the edge of his neb, and ejaculating over the genius of Anthony Stokes. Fortunately, we have been spared an appearance of Hairy Patter. After an hour of the game, I am convinced wee Pat and his two sons were rushing for the vomitories, like the majority of their fellow happy Hibees. I suspect we will be landed with either Craig Paterson or Billy Dodds; although wee Pat and his intellectual comfort blanket pen might be more entertaining in the light of a 1-4 humping by the mighty Rangers.

I heard the last several minutes of BBC Radio Scotland's coverage last evening. Richard Gordon was quite fulsome in his praise of Rangers and asked Billy Dodds to sum up, "It wasn't all about Rangers, United were poor defensively. Craig Levein will have something to say about the defending that saw them two nil down, maybe if they had got the third goal we could have had a grandstand finish". Billy must be a riot as Queen of the South's attacking play coach.

Nacho must stay. Another year at least, even if it's only for his substitute appearances. He is the real deal as an impact player.

Whether the Sun has information or are flying another kite, it doesn't really matter. The Club are dealing from a position of weakness and the speculation over almost all players at the club will continue until a buyer is found. At the upcoming AGM, Donald Muir MUST be questioned on who makes the decision on whether a bid is accepted?

I listened to this too, my ghast was flabbered that last week's story was once again top of the Snyde agenda. Bitter portrayed it as a FIFA EGM, specifically called reference the France/Rep of Ireland game. Over on BBC Radio Scotland, it was fifth item on the Sports news and they specified the result was NOT up for discussion. He even blamed Thierry Henry for having a negative effect on the Irish economy. Nuremberg Hugh agreed, lamenting the continuing woes of the island. There you have it, we can expect a front page cover of the Economist, Thierry Henry's photo accompanied by the strap line, 'the man who wrecked the Irish economy'. Bitter Martin is diseased.

Reference ra Sellik and pitch invaders at ra Stydome. Limerick born and Dublin bred, Tom English is the Chief Sports Writer at Scotland on Sunday. He knows full well that his beloved Sellik have had four pitch invasions during Euro matches at ra Stydome in the last three years. Last season against Man Utd, a Yahoo ran all the way into the centre circle, the cameras refused to transmit footage; however, the incident was reported by the UEFA Observer. Sellik were fined �£42,500 by UEFA. It was noted this was the fourth time in three years and ra Sellik were warned that part of/or the whole ground being closed would be the next sanction, should it happen again. It was reported that the FAI representitive at UEFA, Delaney had argued strongly on ra Sellik's behalf. Of course, Tom English was NOT demanding closure of his beloved Stydome, he was not bemoaning a lack of spine at UEFA either. Probably, he sent his fellow countryman, Delaney a 'well done on a good job' e-mail. The pitch invader was 18 year old John Murphy, he was convicted and given a 6 month custodial sentence. Compare and contrast with Shitey Sean Gallagher's pitch invasion of Ibrox and attempt to handcuff himself to the goalpost. He was fined and given community service. Who thinks John Reid, Jim Murphy, Des Browne, Brian Wilson, ..................etc put Westminster pressure on our 'independent judiciary'? One last thing, Tom English is a cnut.

Oh, and another point. I note ra Bhoy in Corduroy has penned two articles within a week using the term, 'white underclass' to describe an element of the Rangers support. Is Christopher Miller a fully paid up member of 'the white undrclass'? Given Spiers extrapolations about empire, British nationalism, armed forces obsession; it would appear Christopher Miller does NOT tick the appropriate boxes. Last year, a young Asian was assaulted at Glasgow Cross on a Saturday evening. He was hospitalised. He, and a number of witnesses described his four attackers, including three of them wearing the green'n'grey hoops. BBBC Scotland carried the story, but omitted the Police issued decriptions of outer garments. BBC Scotland were content to go with, "Police are looking for four white youths". In late summer 2007, a charity bottle was stolen from the kiosk at Partick Rail/Underground station by a green'n'grey hooped wearing teenager. The whole episode was caught on the station's security cameras. BBC Scotland wrote, "the Police are looking for a tall, thin teenager with dark hair".

BBC Scotland continues to sit comfortably with a preferred prejudice in such instances. Last week, Neil Strachan received a life sentence for child sex abuse and leading a child sex abuse ring. The Police led Operation Algebra brought a dozen members of the ring to justice. All convictees had their lives opened up to reveal past discretions, criminal convictions, and a light was shone on their social and working lives. Quite right too, it's important for the families of those abused and those that may have been exposed to the dangers of these animals, to know their social and employment history. BBC Scotland included a line that HIV positive Neil Strachan had been Secretary of Celtic Boys Club(East) for several years. The line was deleted from the report within 15 minutes. All other information remained unchanged. Why would BBC Scotland be so concerned as to the sensitivities of ra Sellik? Are the sensitivities of the other associations and employers not to be assauged too? Why just Sellik?

Reference my post above, I should also point out the following : On Wednesday, the 27th October ra Sellik hosted an lunch. They do so every year, a few days before their AGM. They extend invitations to all broadcast and print media journos that have remained on message. The dynamic duo of Herr Doktor John Reid and Peter Lawwell sit down and lord it over their devoted subjects. It's a long liquid affair and all those mentioned above eagerly look forward to the opportunity of showing their devotion. This lunch has been on the on-message types' social calendar for nearly a decade. There is also a Christmas Lunch at One Devonshire Gardens/Hotel du Vin. The reality, it's a briefing session and a reward. If proof is needed, look at the uniformity of reporting of ra Sellik's AGM. On the evening of the AGM, it was Dr John is in control, argued a forceful and sensible line for continued prudence, slipping in a few well aimed reminders of the dangers of profligacy ie Rangers. Bitter Martin hosted Snyde's SuperscoreboardXtra that evening, he had been in attendance at both the lunch and the AGM, the whole show was handed over to AGM discussion. A full glowing report is broadcast. It's the next morning that we find out that the Chair of ra Sellik, Herr Doktor Reid has overstepped the mark and sneeringly referred to Rangers as, "a bunch of boring Holy Wullies". Bitter and the rest of the gang failed to mention this bon mot, his journalistin nose had failed to pick up the day's most significant news worthy comment? We know he heard it and decided NOT to broadcast it, similarly the rest of them. It was someone who attended neither the lunch nor the AGM, Keith Jackson of the Record who had got wind of the comment and the story moved overnight on to both the Record and the Sun's front page. Is Bitter letting down the Snyde listenership? Are the rest of them letting down their readers? Of course they are, deliberately so because they want to continue receiving the invites to both the pre-AGM and Christmas lunches. They all attend the AGM anyway, after all they are all Sellik shareholders. It will be the same approach reference Sellik's away supports' marring of the Remembrance Day silence.

It is most obvious that the three mentioned and a few others; Bitter Martin at Radio Snyde, Phil Gordon, Ewing Grahame, Hugh MacDonald, Tom English, Martin Hannan, and Keevins are all in regular correspondence. As for ra Bhoy in Corduroy, he confirms once again his desperate need/craving for acceptance from the unrepentant ******s in both print and broadcast media. Several years ago, his fascination was focused on Glenn Gibbons, then Chief Sports Writer at the Scotsman. He lauded and lionised the man in turn, often referring to him as, 'the Great Gibbo'. As usual, his Sports Diary pieces bordered on homo-erotica, his fantasy included a weekend of lunches and intellectual walks along dramatic topography with the Great Gibbo. Of course, he wished for the Great Gibbo to administer a fisting and facial humiliation too. Anna Smith is beyond parody. She was the Record's Chief Reporter for a decade, specialising in anti-Rangers stories. Her motivation is simple hate.

Tannochsidebear, An accurate account which mirrors the vast majority of Bears' experiences. It's Groundhog Day(again and again); both Stuttgart(5 years )and Artmedia were similar experiences. A point I implore all Bears to labour, is the difference between Police and Stewards. Why were Stewards wielding batons? Why were Stewards indiscriminately discharging CS gas sprays? I am not dismissing the significance of Bougherra's no-show; however, Rangers coming from a potential seven points behind to one point ahead in the space of two games, was THE real story. Anyway, Nuremberg Hugh begins to reinforce his perception of the real story by stating, "Bougherra has shown no respect to the supporters, to the Rangers management team, particularly Smith". Guidi took his cue, "he should be dropped from Tuesday's Champions League game". Nuremberg asked, "Does Walter have principles"? Big DJ found a pair and chipped in, "well he had principles, dropped both Ferguson and McGregor at the end of last season when Rangers really needed them". Silence from Nuremberg and the Slug. All this in the week where once again Scott Brown is on the front page of a national tabloid for drunken behaviour that sees him escorted off another liscenced premisis. Of course, Nuremberg and the Slug are NOT demanding their beloved green'n'grey hooped horrors exhibit principles.

I have also been away for a week. Did any information come forward reference Michael Walker? I have not heard of hime before his inaccurate and offensive article. As for ra Bhoy in Corduroy. I would NOT ban him, it is what he craves most. Martyr staus is something he does not deserve. A couple of decades past, Souness banned the Herald's James Traynor from Ibrox and immediately he went from the back page of his own paper to front page of all papers. The best way for the Club to deal with Spiers is to systematically take him on every time he pens or mouths his usual sanctimonious pysh. The Club MUST do this constantly in a most public way.

The proverbial game of two halves. At half time, I could not see a five goal second half. A 1-4 humping was harsh, but hey that is what the score board said. Two Refereeing decisions in thirty seconds gave Seville their opening, it was a corner to us, Ref awards a bye-kick. I did not think it was a free kick from the bye-kick, but again it was awarded and their delivery was exceptional. They got the breaks and exploited it fully. The breaks do not disguise bad cross field passing that allowed a high pressing Seville team to constantly intercept in the second half and finish in a most clinical fashion. I suppose the best reference point is Juve in the 90s, it was deja vu all over again.

Remember, the anti-football jibe was first used by Barca manager, Frank Rijkaard to describe ra Sellik's performance at the Nou Camp. Radio Snyde's Bitter Martin, ra Bhoy in Cordoroy, Glenn Gibbons, Kevin McCarra, Phil Gordon, ............................. etc; all those on message media wallahs took the term and increasingly applied it to Rangers successful run to the UEFA Cup final two years past. Steve Conroy has clearly changed his style of refereeing, why? Leaving the Moffat Stand yesterday, BBC Radio Scotland provided the following stats reference Conroy. This season thus far, Conroy has officiated at 4 SPL games and awarded 4 Reds, and 31 Yellows. Last season, he officiated at 37 SPL games, dishing out 8 Reds, and 80 Yellows. BBC Radio Scotland did not provide an extrapolation, but here it is, based on this seasons figures thus far : 36 Reds, and 270 Yellows. Compare and contrast : 4 Reds to a possible 36, and 80 Yellows to a possible 270. Clearly Conroy has changed his style in a most radical way, why? I suggest the South African World Cup might be wanting letter of the law Officials. Let's see if Conroy's new uncomprimising letter of the law style, survives a dose of refereeing his beloved green'n'grey hoops?

My concern grows for the privately educated Roddy Forsyth. He appears unable or unwilling to write a piece about Rangers without including references to sectarianism or bigotry. He must preserve the industry that supports his standard of life. On Saturday at ra Stydome, Stephen Conroy was referee, and I believe his Assistants were Lawrence Kerrigan and Brian Cassidy.

Over the last month, STV has announced that they intend to drop out of the national ITV schedule during certain popular programmes. STV say they will NOT take the Bill, Doc Martin, Heartbeat, .............etc. Now, the point here is that STV will have a dozen hours of prime scheduling to fill between the hours of 7pm to 10pm, please do not get hung up on the individual shows, whether they are your favourites or not. STV have declared they will fill this prime time scheduling with home produced programmes. Given the above over the last month, then STV have been lpost out in the micro-politics of ITV. STV will have been required to cough up an amount into the ITV pot, to gain coverage of Rangers participation in the Champions League. They have decided upon the path of least resistance, the dosh being needed to produce those programmes that will substitute the gap in the national schedule. If STV decide they can afford live coverage of Thursday night football, ie ra Sellik in the Eropa Cup, then the fan better be prepared for the amount of sh1t about to be thrown. I believe STV have abdicated their responsibilities.

Craig, 'Chastise'? Just over 10 years past, we won the championship on their midden, a wonderful 3-0 display in favour of the mighty Rangers. We all know that May evening descended into mayhem, pitch invasions, �£80+ thrown on to the pitch in coins, the ref struck, four arterial routes(including the M8 in both directions) brougt to a standstill as Yahoos went on the rampage, .......................................etc. Referee Hugh Dallas had his family home attacked by a rabid Yahoo neighbour, Kevin Dunne. The building firm owner arrived home after seeing his beloved green'n'grey hooped horrors lose it big time, on and off the pitch. He added to the meltdown by taking a golf club, walked across the road to the Dallas house, and proceeded to smash a dozen of the double glazed windows in a sustained several minute attack. The Dallas family cowered inside. Dearest Kevin was charged, tried, and convicted in Hamilton Sheriff Court. He was fined �£2,000 and ordered to pay the cost of the damage(just over �£2,000). Dunne owned a double glazing firm and this was no great hardship. Sellik waited until after the trial was over and declared they would NOT ban him from the ground. At the next home game, he was applauded and cheered to the echo as he took his comfy green leather seat in ra Stydome's north stand. 'Chastise'? The Yahoos have never heard of the word.
