I've no problem with the effort that went into compilation of the report or many of the points made. My frustration is with the backslapping sense of achievement between members of this forum, when nothing has been or will be changed by this approach. By all means feel good about what you've done but when people like Calscot say I think it will at minimum, raise a few eyebrows on the Ibrox board. then it's clear you're drowning in smuggery and deluded beyond hope. Murray might raise an eyebrow in continued amusement at your feeble efforts but if you think he will be impressed at anything other than his own security then you need therapy. Three pages of fawning schmaltz about a report that said almost nothing at all and that failed to directly implicate the Chairman or CEO in any of the club's problems. How is that possible? Here's another report for you, a report from the future..... no one remembers what happened to the STS initiative ..... the club paid lip service to some harmless suggestions from a supporters group and buried it like everything else. That is indeed a fact Mr Cole. The kicker is that the petition isn't actually anything to do with the website whose name cannot be mentioned on FF. All that website did was help circulate it to other Rangers websites such a Gersnet. I'm afraid those running FF are again blinded by their paranoia and personal bitterness. I'm sure many people no longer are surprised when this happens. I see Mr FF still lurks quietly in these parts.

Sunday's NOTW proudly announced that the putrid cockroach Anna Smith is to join their team. This should ring alarm bells for all friends of The Rangers. During her time with the Daily Record, Smith was twice present on dawn raids. Both provided her with anti-Rangers front pages. 1. After the Sunderland friendly, she campaigned non-stop for the pub slasher to be caught and punished. The police were anxious for a result due to the pressure being exerted by the her at the Record. On information provided by Smith (her claim), she was present when the police raided and arrested four Rangers supporters in the Cambuslang area. The front page carried pictures of the raid and anecdotal stories about the Bears detained. A tremendous piece of demonisation. A few days later, the arrested Bears were released. The police revealed that they weren't even in Sunderland. Smith did not re-address this, no mention was ever made. 2. The night before a Scottish Cup Final, Smith was to be found with Glasgow City Council workmen (protected by the police) who are repainting lampposts and kerb stones in Bridgeton. She heralds this as an anti-sectarian drive and praises the Councils quick involvement. Pictures and anecdotal stories are on the front page of the Daily Record the next morning. Her take on the Royston Street Party consisted of four paragraphs. She did not mention the murder, the numerous stabbings, the heart attack victim that died in the ambulance that couldn't get through cut-off roads, the gang battles, the dozens of arrests, the Councils grant of Ã?£25,000, etc etc. Smith is both a season ticket holder and share holder at Celtic Park. Her involvement with Cardinal Winning's media committee, and overt work and support of militant Irish republicanism are well documented. She used to regularly lecture young seminarists on the pitfalls of the big bad Proddy world. Her family still live in Chapelhall. A big ââ?¬Å?Sellick-mindedââ?¬Â family one might say. Her mother's old house in Arranview Street was regularly draped with republican flags every old firm game. She started reporting in the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser at the same time as Graham Isdale. She sold Mr. Isdale down the river big time to get the job with the Record. Formerly a regular at Airdrie and Coatbridge Labour Council functions, she could also regularly be found drinking in Airdrie. She is unmistakable. Bucked-toothed with wiry unkempt ginger hair, it is claimed she has slept with everybody and anybody to get where she is. Anna Smith hates Rangers. Anna Smith hates Protestants. Anna Smith is a twisted bigot. Please boycott this newspaper from now on - better still, write to the editor and tell him why you are boycotting and urging everyone else to do so as well. You should be proud of the backslapping thanks you collected for that cheap shot. You now if it wasn't for some of the members you find so hard to tolerate, this forum might turn into one big self-congratulation and you really would be the smartest, most insightful girl on the block.

Well I have to disagree with you, it said absolutely nothing new. Worse, it seeks to deflect us from the real issues at hand. It seeks to make excuses for the unacceptable and to lay the blame everywhere except where it should be. If we cannot face up to this then we will just keep on having days like yesterday. This is not about celtic, it's about Rangers and what's wrong with us. Criticise celtic by all means but please - do not use their problems as an excuse for our own. That's just so much cowardice.

We all know we're a poor side and that we have neither money to spend nor credible management to use it wisely. We haven't scored a goal against celtic in the last three outings and have beaten them only once in the last six attempts. And it's preceisely because we all already understand that they are in the same boat as us that this is unacceptable. We've bought very unwisely with the money we did have. We've coached and motivated poorly. We've employed stupid, one-dimensional tactics and played everyone except the goalkeeper in the wrong position. The anger has nothing to do with comparing this Rangers team with what we had in the 1990's. It's about comparing this Rangers team with the current celtic team and being unwilling to lie down and accept more bollocks and failure from Smith. It doen't matter whether anyone thinks celtic are better or worse, it matters that Smith is now in his thrid year at the club and we are still performing like we did on Sunday. We didn't even look like wanting to win yesterday and that's not good enough. There's nowhere left for Smith to hide but he's still in the press today offering pointless platitudes and failing to face up to his own role in this mess. I'm sick of hearing people say that celtic are their for the taking. What the fuck does that matter if we are so poorly prepared and led that we're incapable of doing the taking? I'm sorry but when the writing is on the wall, the only thing left to do is read it. Smith is simply no fucking good to us whatsoever. Regardless of what he once might have been, the man we have today is bereft of ideas and will not achieve what simply must be achieved here. People have a right to be angry. More, they are entirely justified. Everyone with their eyes open knew exactly what Smith shouldn't do on Sunday and everyone saw him do it just the same and with the predictable outcome we all sat through. He has to go.

The club is run by people without talent. The club employs people without talent. The club performs poorly. It's not rocket science.

How long d'you think we'll have to wait until Sir Moonbeam enters the debate with a few well-orchestrated statements in defence of his manager, appealling to decency and loyalty for a man who has given his life to the club and chastising the fickle and ill-informed interneds. I'm sure the websites will already have been trawled and a report emailed off to the great Captain of Industry, who will fizz and spit for five public minutes before going back to sleep for the remainder of the season. I therefore take great pleasure in adding to his reading by recommending that he could perform no greater service to this club than to fall on his own sword and leave the stage to a better and more able man. In the process he might compare the club he bought with the club he now leaves and hang his head in shame. Oh, and perhaps he could find something long and sharp for our useless manager too.

Surely to God Walter won't be given another year in charge whatever happens.

If I'm honest, I see almost nothing to salvage from the current mess. Comparing Smith with someone else who was also unsuccessful doesn't really help. Comparing anyone with Sebo leads us nowhere except madness. The fact is that Smith has been here over two years now and with the exception of his first few months, I see no improvement whatsoever. In fact it's worse than that, we're now heading backwards and an alarming speed and Smith appears to be so one-dimensional in his thinking that he will never be the one to do anything about it. Now or later, he has to go. The longer he stays the more entrenched will be his legacy and the harder it will be to climb out of it. We've got to start learning from past experience that when a manager stops being effective, it only get worse the longer you persist with him. Get him the fuck out of Rangers now because no amount of sentimental loyalty will help the club.
