    Meh, they're 5th after 12 games and they've only finished that high once in 7 years under Ashley. Plus, there's currently only a 7 point gap between 4th place Man U and 16th place Villa.

    The High Court judge who charged him with contempt of court last week for failing to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice in London attached a custodial order of 28 days to the second arrest warrant.

    No need for that as Newcastle are unlikely to qualify for Europe anyway, so the whole thing is probably irrelevant for the foreseeable future even if we did qualify ourselves.

    The young lad Sam Adekugbe is a left back. He captained the Canadian U20 team a couple of weeks ago in a 2-2 draw with England in Bournemouth and the lad Kianz Froese played most of that game too.     Aye, if UEFA won't allow the two clubs to play in Europe due to Ashley's current involvement in Rangers, then the SFA might as well allow him to take even more involvement because it won't make any difference!
