During a time of recession how can you expect fans to fork out more than 400 quid when they don't know if we are going to be facing Celtic or East Stirling next season four times next season.

I would say it's a flippant remark from Green and not a smart one at that. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Green and his consortium will certainly make money from Rangers - of that there is no doubt.

If we lose the SPL vote it would literally be turkey's voting for Christmas. Chairman of the other clubs may talk tough but I would suggest the bank managers of the vast majority of them will be on the phone to them "strongly advising" them to vote us back in or face the consequences. You only have to look at some of the debts of some of these wee diddy clubs to see that.

It will be a brand new Rangers next season - both in terms of the company and the team on the pitch. We won't be challenging for the championship for at least another three seasons.

The history of Rangers has not died with the news that HMRC has decided not to back the CVA proposal of the Charles Green consortium and Duff & Phelps. The Rangers Football Club came into being in 1872 on Flesher's Haugh but the company that is due to be liquidated did not come into being until 1899. During that 27 year period the club had already began winning League Championships and Scottish Cups. Where those trophies scrubbed from the record when the new company? No Rangers Football Club isn't David Murray or Craig Whyte, Duff & Phelps or Charles Green - it's about the team and the supporters. Every supporter owns a part of the club and every supporter has cherished memories from down the years which will never be erased. No liquidation or Newco will take away glory European nights, cup final victories or last day league wins. We always say no man is bigger than Rangers Football Club and now we know that no company is indeed bigger than Rangers Football Club. No surrender!!

Two games for me would be the Parma game at Ibrox when we won 2-0. Atmosphere was absolutely incredible. Favourite away game was against Sporting Lisbon on the road to Manchester. Fantastic few days. Would have loved to have been at the Marseille game in 92/93, the Dynamo Kiev game in 87/88 and of course Barcelona in 1972.

To be honest the only creditors that matter in this scenario is HMRC and Ticketus.

I hope he is willing to take a huge wage cut to come back to Ibrox. We simply cannot afford to pay over inflated wages to players over 30; having said that I'd love to see someone like Gattuso back at Ibrox. What an example he would be to the younger players in terms of training and dedication.

I'm no financial expert but I find the timing of this absolutely baffling. I just want this all sorted and the season ticket renewal forms sent ASAP.

I believe that we will be banned from competing in the Scottish Cup for a number of years which will infuriate the SFA's sponsors. They won't chuck us out of the game as we bring in too much money to the others clubs. I feel we have got the SFA by the short and curlys.

It seems things are moving in the right direction but no doubt there will be a few more twists and turns along the way.

We have no other option but to play the kids. The likes of Perry, Hutton, Fleck, McCabe and Ness are more than capable of stepping up. The fact is that whether people like it or not the days of big spending are over and producing our young players is the only way forward. Winning the title next season will be a tall order but I for one am really looking forward to seeing how players like Barrie McKay and Lewis McLeod can fit into our team.

A boycott of away grounds is the only way we can get through to these morons.
