  1. I know what you mean but i am afraid we are back in the kind of state when buying players is the least of our concerns
  2. Sons of Struth ‏@SonsofStruth 1m Look forward to how BBC and STV report the Union of Fans statement on news this evening. Interviews were stopped twice by club ---- or maybe not: @STVGrant: @SonsofStruth @rangersfctrust Nobody from the club was present at the STV interview. Not true to say our interview was stopped by the club. As straightforward as ever! But the BBC interview: "It was the BBC interview - twice security asked us to move away from Front door and Blue gates at Broomloan end. Interview ended up over the road, where Chris had just previously been interviewed." LIFTED FROM FF
  3. apparently King has answered a Q&A twitter interview from none other than Ill Phil Seems bizzare but then we specialise in bizzare EDIT - see Deebear below
  4. FT: Gers U20 1-1 Hearts U20. Charlie Telfer's 58th minute goal earns #Rangers a point after Callum Tapping's penalty gave Jambos early lead. That's it all over folks, good night
  5. '58 - GOAL - Charlie Telfer equalises for Rangers with a low shot from inside the 18-yard box. Rangers U20 1-1 Hearts U20.
  6. HT: #Rangers U20 0-1 Hearts U20. Gordon Durie's side have it all to do after Callum Tapping's 1st min penalty gives Jambos half-time lead.
  7. We're losing 0-1 (first minute penalty)
  8. Rangers Youth ‏@RFC_Youth #Rangers U20 team v Hearts: Gallacher, Gibson, Sinnamon, Hegarty, Halkett, Telfer, Burrows, Dykes, Gallagher, Crawford, Stoney. KO 7pm. (Murray Park) Subs: Liam Kelly, Scott Roberts, Junior Ogen, Ryan Hardie, David Brownlie and a trialist. nb Luca Gasparrato was injured in the last game, played on after hurting his knee in 11th minute but not being risked tonight
  9. Merlin has waved Jack's wand already Childish, disgusting and ill informed. As you'd expect - hard to tell who does us more damage online, Merlin or Ill Phil
  10. Brilliant statement. Just what we needed
  11. the gloves being off is of no help when there is no-one to hit. The only thing we can harm is the club we want to save.
  12. Or he, too, is 'very, very high'. It would explain a lot. I note his comments re the fan groups' statement is not in keeping with the oft quoted aim of "transparency".
  13. Perhaps Sep 1st means we can sell someone in August to pay it back though everyone will know we are desperate sellers
  14. Ally told us it was all perfectly normal, nothing untoward. Looks like the Easdales are not so greedy. Though repaying this, even the bit without interest, just hastens us running out of money next season. We are already starting to spend next season's ticket money and it is only February.
  15. Luca = First he signed three year deal in July 2011. In Jan 2013 this was 'extended' by a year. I take this to mean he is contracted to June 30th 2015.
  16. Are we allowed such optimistic and sunny posts? It feels a bit weird....................
  17. 90 - GOAL: Ball breaking to the feet of Hardie who did well to run at the defence then clip it beyond the onrushing keeper. 2:0 #Rangers Oooooops sorry Ian
  18. '90 - Speculative shot from distance by Ross Drummond on the half volley from outside the box, but it was always going over the bar.
  19. That guy marking Telfer does not look like a footballer
  20. 1-0 :-)))))))))))))))))))))))
  21. Almost Gunslinger but you need it to spell "SHARE": Share Holding Amalgamated Rangers' Entities
  22. That's a bit brutally honest of you, Super Cooper, to be totally honest. It's really sad to listen to him, it has been for a long time. He's a lovely lad but seems to be as thick as mince. I was worried when we named him manager but I'd have loved him to prove such fears foundless. I love him as player, for being all we had in the enemy camp (though he seems to confuse enemies with friends) for all his goals, especially v them. For being a Ranger that gained nationwide love on the TV....but really he's spoiling all these memories. Relentlessly.
  23. I detect a Transatlantic touch in our official page reporting ("it" and "tied"): "ALLY McCOIST was left frustrated by poor defending from his team as it trailed twice then was pegged back to a draw against Stenhousemuir. Rangers conceded three goals in a home league fixture for the first time since April 2011 – and therefore for the first time since McCoist became manager – as the teams tied 3-3. The manner of each goal upset the Light Blues boss, particularly the third which came from the penalty foul after an apparent foul in the box by Emilson Cribari. He was irritated by the first two as well though as they came from lapses in concentration which he felt could have been prevented. Gers have now lost 11 goals in 13 home League One matches this season, a statistic the manager is not happy with. In contrast, his men have kept 14 clean sheets in their last 15 away games in all competitions dating back more than six months to August. McCoist said: “We’re very frustrated and our overriding feeling is one of disappointment. When you score three goals at home, you don’t expect not to win. “Losing three goals at home – albeit one of them being questionable – wasn’t good at all and we made silly mistakes. “We didn’t defend the first one at all well. I think we should have cut the ball out at source before the cross came in. “David Templeton and Lee Wallace should have cut that out but then Sebastien (Faure) missed the cross and the lad knocked it in. “With the second, Waldo had gone by Temps and then the ball got moved wide for a simple cross and a header. “From their point of view – and they’re obviously looking at it differently – it was a great goal. From ours, it was a shocker defensively.” McCoist – who confirmed Faure isn’t seriously hurt after an x-ray revealed no bone or ligament damage from a first-half tackle - was most irked by Stenny’s final goal. Referee Greg Aitken gave a penalty against Emilson Cribari after he was ruled to have pulled David Rowson’s shirt. There’s no doubting the players came together as a corner came in from the right, although it’s unclear whether anything illegal took place. McCoist was adamant the spot kick should never have been awarded but insists Templeton should have had a first-half penalty. He fell under Sean Lynch’s cumbersome challenge and it looked like a clear foul but Aitken gave the decision the other way and booked the winger for simulation. McCoist was outraged by both spot kick calls and added: “I wasn’t really having the third one at all. “The reaction from all the players, both benches and indeed the stadium would indicate the majority of people thought it wasn’t a penalty. “In the first half, we had a double whammy. You can maybe allow the referee a mistake in not giving the penalty but his view of the situation was first class. “For Templeton to get booked for it though? I asked the referee at half-time if he thought it was a penalty and he said no. “I asked if he booked Templeton for diving and he said it was for simulation. If he’s getting it wrong once fair enough but for Temps to get punished is very, very harsh. “David isn’t a diver. I’ll hopefully be speaking to John Fleming, the head of the referees, and we can try to get as many people to witness that as possible. “I think it was a penalty and if the referee makes a mistake, he makes a mistake. He was maybe the only person this side of Glasgow who thought it wasn’t a penalty.”
