  1. I love the way Wenger's teams play, but i've got a wee sneaky for manure(sorry gazza). I think 2-1 to the mancs and wayne to score one if not both their goals.
  2. I'm 100% with you on that one, but second guessing Walter this season hasn't been easy.
  3. Miller for Boydy? Thank F**k it's just a rumour. Just a wee follow on from this. What does the future hold for KB at Rangers? He seems to be a wee bit down the pecking order and with JCD still to come back from injury, it looks like his opportunities are going to be few and far between. I'm not KBs biggest fan, but dare we/walter let that many goals leave the club? Also, would KB be happy playing a bit part at the club? Would the odd substitute appearance and cup game be enough for him? Next couple of transfer windows are going to be interesting.
  4. Let me start by apologising. If admin are not fussy for this 'rumour' being discussed and lock it down, i'll understand. I heard it from two seperate guys at work, where they got it from i'm not sure. Seemingly, In the summer Walter was interested in bringing KM back to Ibrox, but thought the immediate old firm switch would maybe hit a few raw nerves on both sides. So there's been a deal done with Derby and Billy Davies for him to play down there until the january window and then bring him back up. Part of the deal was for a certain Gers player(not sure who) to go the opposite way. I just wondered if any of the guys had heard anything regarding this? There is every chance of this being a lot of absolute bollocks. So once again my apologies.
  5. With the bheggars going out last night That's left the door open a wee bit wider for us to go and take the first trophy of the season. A nice wee psychological boost me thinks(and hopes).
  6. A thoroughly deserved deal. The wee man hasn't started as many games as he would have liked. Nevertheless, his contribution has been vital for us so far this season.
  7. What the f**k is Walter Smith up to? Why are we going to a place like tannadice and playing two holding midfielders and dropping the tempo to walking pace? He got it spot on against septic. Two attacking midfielders(fergie and adam)and one holding(thomson). Nice high tempo, got in their faces and gave them a right doin'. Does WS honestly think we only have to make that sort of effort against septic and not anybody else. We allowed another team to put US on the back foot from the word go. We went out on that park and played as if we just needed to turn up and we would win. Just a couple of another things. NAISMITH, why isn't he getting a game? He's got way too much talent to be constently sitting on the bench. Faye. Is it just me, or is he the worst player currently registered to play football in Scotland? He is F*****G woeful. What WS sees in him i'll never know. Sorry Wattie, but you're gonna have to do better mate.

I'll wait to i've seen the deal/proposals in full before i make my mind up. We've also got a s**t load of local issues to deal with. Our manager has been taking a few liberties in regards to savings. :uzi:
  9. That is a great article. Interesting reading some of the responses.

Favourite weekends of the season. Only one thing better than having the chance to stick it to the scumtic and that's actually doing it. Usually go to the pub with the mates to watch it, but seeing as i've been on strike(postie)i might have a wee bit ass kissing to do to get some beer money. NO SURRENDER.
  12. What a surprise. I honestly didn't think Michelle Twatini would punish a player for BLATANT CHEATING. Especially one playing for one of his beloved french teams. :uzi: He must be well pissed off getting his arse kicked from Scottish fitbaw teams.
  13. Did watty bring in him back to Ibrox because of the psychological affect he would have on a club and players that were at their wits end after the PLG disaster? A scottish, fun loving Ibrox legend. An appointment that would surely lift the spirits of any down trodden club. Especially the Glasgow Rangers. I'm not sure how fair this next comment is, because coisty for all i know could be a great coach in the making. To me and probably alot of players, especially scottish ones. He will always be 'one of the lads'. Proper focus and the kind of respect a top manager requires and demands from players could be a stumbling block for coisty at Rangers. Future manager or not. He's a legend and i'm glad he's at Ibrox.
  14. I was just about to post the very same message Frankie...:fish: Seriously though, that's a great read....as usual.
  15. That's a good shout. I must admit, when i learned of the formation, i was furious. Must win home game and playing one up front, my beer bottle was about through the telly. Your post puts it nicely into perspective. So well done watty, for teaching us to walk again before we can run. P.S............C'MON MOSCOW..........
  16. Any names being mentioned as to who the left back cover *might* be cammy?
  17. Apart from the fact that i haven't seen anything of cousin( i'll bow to your superior knowledge cammy) that's the team i'd go with. In saying that. This is the first season in a while we have the benefits of a decent squad at our disposal. So changing it now and again shouldn't(i hope)affect the balance and continuity of the team.
  18. I agree. I hope Broadfoot is playing tonight and has a solid game. It woud be a great boost for his confidence and give us even more options for that right hand side.

    Sssshhhh

If he does come to IBROX, it'll be interesting to see how wattie uses him. I'm assuming he'll be cover for JCD and Boydy. With Whittaker here and possibly SN coming. Are we going to see less and less of Nacho and only see McCulloch up front now and again. That would be a pity IMO. He looks as if he'd do a decent job for us as an out and out striker. Interesting times.(happily)
  20. Yep, fergie for me. Cuellar, as asceneder says was good. How refreshing is it to have two centre halves that can defend properly and head the ball. It's been a while. Also, for the first time in while we have decent balance to the team/squad. Long may it continue.
  21. Totally amazed and overjoyed if he came to us. More likely another story thrown in there by one of SDMs lap dogs to boost season ticket sales.
  22. I think we'll qualify for the CL group stages, but at present, our squad is well short of being good enough to go any further. As for the title, I think we'll be a lot closer. As for being confident of going on and winning the SPL. I'm not( i hope i'm proved wrong). We've made some 'decent' additions, but that's all they are IMO. I don't think McCulloch and Naismith are the answer either. Half decent squad additions, but not players who are going to take us forward IMO. Until Wattie can go out and spend 12-15 million on players, I'm afraid the 'scum' are going to have the step on us, in regards to the title.
  23. Put into perspective fantastically well. Great piece Calscot.
  24. Two mondays in a row I've been able to go into work and rip the pish out of the scum lovers...........life's great.
