  1. Good choice for me. A wee bit more vocal than Stevie G I think. Ultimately it doesn't matter that much. If your going to win major tournaments you need 11 captains on the park. So big Johnny's a septic man. Something for the RANGERS players and fans to remember when we meet them in the champions league final next season.
  2. Great point about Venables. When all the talk about Eck leaving was on the go, Venables was one that I would have welcomed at Ibrox.
  3. Cheers lads. That's 40 quid extra for going out to watch the game on sunday.
  4. I'm thinking of buying RANGERS WORLD(39.99) on the official site. Is it worth it lads? Cheers, nokiss.
  5. Up the Baggies. Cyril Regis Loyal.
  6. Very harsh. A yellow card at most. Rooney's reputation and the ref trying to make a name for himself me thinks. :admin:
  7. That is a F*****N' great read. Really puts the over exaggerated success of the wee specky tramp into perspective when written down like that. Two other interesting points in the story as well. Andy Davis after the SCF and the failure to answer the question about sectarinism and the septic fans. Great find Cammy and well done Mr Legget.
  8. I didn't know that Cammy. Could've gave him some abuse or set the beast on him.
  9. Across the park walking the hound dog. Saw Rowbotham refereeing an amateur game, watched for a bit. He's still PANTS Never one of my favourites. Bit of a flapper in the high pressure games.
  10. Nice one A massive step forward in the battle against bigotry. DM is on a roll with getting things right. First PLG and now Mediahouse.
  11. Tough SHIT Sammy. Let me put your mind at ease big man. Dado would NEVER EVER have wore the Bolton jersey with the PRIDE and PASSION that he does while wearing the red white and blue of GLASGOW RANGERS. So suck it up Sam, he's a BEAR and always will be.
  12. That kind of uneducated ranting really pisses you off I'm sure if you asked most home-grown GERS fans, they would say they were proud Scots first and then British. I would also like to hear this genius explain how a Saltire on a football top and within a stadium would help get rid of sectarinism within the game(old firm).
  13. I voted for Hutton, but he'll have to pick up the level of his performance. Sunday was a decent start. If not, give Ricksen another chance. I think we'll see a new Fernando from now on. He's realised he can't fuck PLG about :admin: and will know that this will be his last chance.
  14. Don't get me wrong. I think Hutton is a decent player with plenty of potential with the added bonuses of being a bluenose and scottish. I think one of the reasons he played so well on sunday is because of the way PLG sent the team out to play. We were aggressive right from the off. Pushing them back, therefore allowing our full backs to get up the park and support the midfield. Making them defend instead of the other way around. The more we dictate to teams, the less pressure will be on our defence. Giving our full backs much more freedom to get involved offensively. I think he'll improve a lot under PLG.
  15. I'm another one who's glad he's stayin'. It's gonna be interesting how Le Gaffer views him, in regards to the team/squad. IMO I don't think he'll play much in midfield, unless we're struggling with injuries and suspensions. I'm no fan of Fernando at right back, but there's one thing that he's better than Hutton at in that position and that's going forward. He's a better passer and can cross a decent ball. Hutton did have a decent game on sunday, but with PLG being big on getting his full backs pushed on and being heavily involved offensively. I think Ricksen may get the nod. nokiss(jimi)
  16. MAGIC pics Gazza. Does Mols still live in Scotland?
  17. I agree Cammy. After the disappointment of last season, tactically as much as anything. It's good to see us, away from home especially, being aggressive and taking the game to an inferior team and not allowing ourselves to be bullied and not flapping when we lose a goal. Sticking with our game plan(if there was any) is something that very rarely happened last season. I know that there will be ups and downs and that it's gonna be long hard season. It's just nice to see us playing with our chins up and moving in the right direction. nokiss(jimi)
  18. One game and already you can see what a difference it's made to us as a team, having a manager who demands the game be played at an aggressive high tempo. Simple little things that IMO has improved us and will continue to do so as we grow and gel as a squad. Centre Backs:Held a nice high line and distributed from the halfway line instead of their own 18 yrd line. Full Backs:Really aggressive, spent more time in opposition half than their own. Linked really well with the midfield and allowed Charlie and Sionko to support the frontmen as much as possible and work the channels. Midfield:Middle of midfield went toe to toe with opposition. Never allowing them to push them back so that they were sitting on top of their centre halves. Wide men gave great support to the full backs in defence, never allowing them to get isolated. In the final third they were allowed to express themselves with and without the ball. Popping up all along the M'well back line, therefore giving us much more offensive options. Front Men: Didn't have to drop deep or work the channels as much. Simply because the full backs and wide men were doing it, allowing them to concentrate on the 18 yrd box and getting into better goal scoring positions. All in all, a 1000 times better than the majority of last season. Also, with top players to come back and maybe a signing or two(hopefully)we should only get better. BRING IT ON........PLG YOUR THE MAN and WE ARE THE PEOPLE.
  19. Yeah, a superb performance from young Charlie. Deserved the MOTM award that he got. It's gonna be interesting to see what Le Gaffer does when Burkey comes back. As well as Charlie, I thought Sionko had a very good game. So is Burkey maybe gonna have to bide his time if Charlie and Sionko are playing well? Nice wee headache for PLG.

That wee twat Foran has a boot at one or two of our players every time we play M'well. Hopefully they'll look at the TV evidence and pull him up for it. Either that or somebody should boot him into row Z to teach the little c**t a lesson.
  21. Classic analysis of the 'wool lovers' last few seasons mate. Laughed for about 10 mins after reading that. My gaffer's a abersheep fan, I think I'll rip the pish out of him tomorrow using your material(if you don't mind). Cheers, Jimi.
  22. I agree with Frankie. Over-indulging in the transfer market before we get rid of the over paid dead wood at the club would be a mistake IMO. If it means buying young players and players who are more on the fringe of things at their clubs for a season or two so PLG can have much more and better options in regards to the transfer market in future seasons. I'm all for that. We have a extremely gifted young manager with an excellent track record in working with young players, tactics and winning. So with Barry, Burkey and maybe one or two more bargain buys to come in. I'm really confident that we'll have more than enough to cope with everything that's thrown at us this season. Our Main Contenders: Septic-Struggling like f**k(hahahahahahahaha take a breath hahahahaha) Jambos-As good as their gonna get. Hibees-Had their glory against us last year. Back to norm 06/07. Dons-Who f****n' cares(wool lovers)
  23. I'll second that. Still, not long to the Brazil game. Maybe if we're lucky DM will give PLG 100 million so we can buy a couple of them. Ronni and Kaka will do.
  24. All COOL. Croatia away for me. It'll be that little bit different from the slightly more common(although very smart) ones. Especially if you get DADO lettered on the back.
