  1. It doesn't alter the fact that the SFO do not accept complaints/cases from individuals.
  2. Cases are referred to the SFO by the Police or other government departments, individuals are not entertained by the SFO, so no one reported anything to the SFO it quite simply doesn't work that way Board Statement Written by Rangers Football Club THE board notes the comments made by a group of businessmen and minor investors led by Mr Jim McColl. We would make the following points:- Rangers have not been contacted by the SFO and are completely unaware of any investigation.
  3. Many banks ruined businesses to protect their own profits and bonus schemes, they are the dregs of society , usury practitioners is being to kind to them.
  4. Wallace is a fan of the oval ball and a great admirer of the Hastings brothers.
  5. The paper appears to have updated its headline to Ally will back the board although I can't see any justification for it ! Ally McCoist to back the board at next Rangers AGM, as he believes the club's "best interests are at heart". http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDMQqQIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailyrecord.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Ffootball-news%2Fally-mccoist-back-board-next-2841342&ei=oX2QUsnTG4WN7QaNk4DwBg&usg=AFQjCNHdo9N9LPlZwAJPFCqvDCuoUiEGxw&bvm=bv.56988011,d.ZGU&cad=rja
  6. McCoist either answered or responded to something which appears to be this; McCoist has still not decided which side he will publicly endorse, but is in a situation which makes it highly unlikely he would oppose his current employers. “That would be committing suicide, to be honest with you,” said McCoist. “I haven’t made up my mind yet how I’m going to vote. It doesn’t put me in an uncomfortable position at all, because the one thing I will certainly do, and have always attempted to do, is to do the right thing for the club. It’s something I will think about nearer the time. Ally could do the right thing and stand up right now and be counted as to his beliefs about who he will support, his prevaricating of sorts is not surprising as he has backed every incumbent there has been, perhaps his job is the most important thing rather than what is seen to be morally right under the circumstances by some.
  7. What would be committing suicide, does Ally know the outcome of the vote already, why would he say it would be suicide to vote against the present board surely they could still lose the vote unless Ally knows the voting percentages are enough to carry the present board. I do wish he would keep his own counsel at times, being everyone's friend never works out.
  8. Has Paul Murray never heard of David Holmes ? very poor from someone proposing to sit on the board.

  10. 11.64% when all is said and done is not a majority, overall there is the other 88.36% to be allowed and accounted for.
  11. I for one hopes this ends in a court case, MM stated, "The choice is stark - take sanctions or risk not playing football at all. We do not wish to gamble with the club's future so, under duress, we have taken the difficult decision to accept some sanctions in order to move forward". Duress and Undue Influence law are plain enough and Green should have challenged it at the time, the sfa would lose and will lose badly.
  12. Unfortunately you are coming across as no more than a malcontent if you don't get your own way.
  13. You don't seem to mind hurting the club if democracy goes against you, can't say I am surprised.
  14. You would advise hurting the club if democracy thwarts your aims, interesting if ill thought out.
  15. Democracy is the system where two ldiots can outvote a genius, looks like the party is over for the requisitioners.
  16. No perhaps so about it, no IPO in financial history has settled at 5%.
  17. The IPO figures related to Mr McColl's claim of 5%.
  18. The simple and salient point is that Mr McColl's claim of 5% is just that, Merrill Lynch was the market leader in underwriting being as low as 4% of IPO funds, many other expenses need to be added to that figure not least legals.
  19. 12.5% is the norm for IPO expenses 5% wouldn't even cover underwriting costs, maybe Mr McColl omitted the 1 in front of the 5.
  20. You would have to factor in IPO and ancillary IPO monies, nowhere near 25% was used for expenses it was nearer 11%.
  21. Prosecution ? jail was the penalty and 84 years as set out in the judgement for failure to pay, also he agreed to make payment to the Criminal Asset Recovery Fund of over R8 million..
  22. King was given an option payment of the fines imposed or 84 years in jail, he clearly seen the benefit of paying up for his morals.
