Think he did quite well in Finland, the board there weren't keen to let him go and he was at Cowdenbeath before that. Think he'll do well.

It's all well and good Boyd being a natural goalscorer, but he isn't playing and neither is Buffel. In an ideal world I wouldn't get rid of either player, but our entire first team can be strengthened. These guys are assets and are not being used so the sensible option is to cash in these assets and use the money they bring in to strengthen the first team.

I think it was a financial thing for clubs who rely on the gate money through the winter for their revenue. Not entirely sure how that works as I'm sure players still get paid through the summer, but I think that was the reason it was cancelled.

Brilliant news, he can be just as good on the left as Hutton is on the right. But I agree, I hope he isn't rushed back.
-
Good, be glad to see him get his first game out the way. We'vebeen hearing about him for about 18 months now and he's still only 16. If he doesn't get some exposure soon the pressure that'll build on him for his debut will get ridiculous. If he doesn't get at least 4 goals on saturday, I want himpunted!!!

The Scotsman on-line has it too.
-
I would go for Burley out of those four. Remeber the job he did with Ipswich as well.
-
Lahm can play left or right back, similar to Zambrotta and, apparently Stephen Whittiker.
-
Well I'll shoot my sources (think it was the Daily Record)

For the love of Christ, it was sarcasm.

Aye, by one goal. Oh, how we're missing him!!!
-
I answered my own queston - not well. He's started 6 league games with 9 as sub scoring 2, started 2 cup games with one as sub and scored 1. 18 games 3 goals.

Any news on how the big man's doing in France?
-
We have a real opportunity and our problem over the last couple of seasons is when they drop points we haven't taken advantage. We NEED to take advantage this time.
-
RIP. A sad loss especially as he was the father of 4 young children.
-
I just think it's very sad that this can happen to one of our countries major clubs and the League/SFA/SPL can or do nothing to stop it. Romanov is not only messing about witht he club but with peoples livelihoods. Stephen Frail cannot be happy but is the Catch 22 that he cannot leave as he has a family to feed.
-
Unfortunately I have a feeling he'll turn out to be a good player. Competing with lahm for the right back spot for Germany and has 20 odd caps.
-
I'm very glad to be back. But it wouldn't be Christmas without some Gersnet downtime!!

I can see where you're coming from, but I can't agree. Hutton has been outstanding this season both defensively and in attack. If, and I don't really think this will happen, but if he stays on for the next 3 or 4 years with players like Naismith, Stevie Smith, Burke (id he can maintain decent form) we can have a very exciting dynamic team that I feel can really go places. I don't think we should rush things but allow this team to develop and for that to happen then we need t keep our best players.

Definately being in Coatbridge!! Itmakes a bit of a mockery of the piss about seating capacity and expensive undersoil heating being criteria to join the SPL when clubs obviously don't have the ability to cover some grass to stop it getting wet!

I agree. It's the same with Love Street and every West Ham fan I've ever spoken to calls Upton Park the Boleyn Ground (I don't know what the difference is). Like has been said, It'll always be called Ibrox for those that want to keep the name especially as there won't actually be a relocation. I think that 70000 is a reasonable capacity - those that say it won't get sold out for Gretna - why not? Surely there is a waiting list for season tickets and it may also be easier for Bears like myself, Gribz etc who don't go regularly but if circumstances permit wouldn'tmind heading to the odd game. The problem I have with this announcement is that this is one of 3 options - so in 2 years when we go with the option that actually only upgrades two toilets and a burger stand Murray can say, 'Well I never promised it would happen' But as a long term investment I think this, if it goes ahead can only be apositive for the club as a whole.

Wouldn't mind someone like Harry Redknapp or Terry Venables. Why all the opposition to Jim Jeffries? He would probably be my first choice! Also, George Burley would be a good shout,
-
Thank fuck - but will anyone pay 10 million for him?
-
FFS it's not a case of is the glass half empty or half full - some fucker bought you the wrong bloody drink!!

I think it's just puppy fat.
