I think he is an al;ready excellent playe who still has potential. Easily worth 5 million. If he was based down south you would be looking at double that!
-
I've seen the links with Bradford too. Would prefer him to get experience as a manager before he came to us.
-
I think he would be a good signing. He's still rattling them in in the EPL so up here he would have a field day. I think he's a more complete player than when he left Scotland. But I don't think he would come unless he fancies a pop at the Champions League. It all boils down to money!

Up until a couple of years ago I wold have said yes, but not now I'm afraid. Shame though as he was one of my favourite players.
-
He's got, I think about 2 years to go. If it was up in the summer transfer fees wouldn't come into it.
-
Apparently he's been linked with Man City. BTW has Allardyce been confirmed at Newcastle?

More here from BBc website

I'm a bit surprised. He's a good manager and I thought he would fancy his chances of bringing Wigan on next year, maybe doing a Bolton and establishing themselves in the top flight.

The game is indeed played on the pitch. However, when the players on the pitch aren't actually supposed to be there that is when the courts get involved. West Ham stayed up cos they cheated. a £5.5 millon fine is a drop compared to what they will make from staying in the Premiership. And they say cheats never prosper!!!

Yes, they probably should be but I know that when my holidays are coming up I wind down a bit at work.

I'm hopeful he'll be at Ibrox along with Naismith, but I don't really fancy our chances now. He's getting priced out of our league. At least the Tims won't get him either!
-
Mine too Barry. I'm a bit to young to remember Kai, but that makes no odds whatsoever. It is a total sign of disrespect whther it be a Rangers legend, a Celtic player, anybody! Totaly out of line. Good read Frankie. One thing I would say, although I never saw the game, it was end-of-season with nowt to play for. Players are probably winding down to their holidays which, with the season over is understandable. I think the Killie game and the Aberdeen game should have been used to blood young players more. It's the only use for them.

I think Fowler would get us goals and we could do far worse than have him in the squad. To compete on all fronts you need depth, and at 32 he's hardly past it. A fresh start in a fresh league could be just what he needs. If he's on a free then we should get him. Stewarty's idea about the structuring of his wages is a good one.
-
Think he'll still be a Rangers player next year, Walter seems to rate him. Not the last we've seen of Sebo!
-
That is a shame if true. He deserves a big send off. Stick him on the bench Walter and pop him on with 30 seconds to go. Give him one last trot out at Ibrox, there's nothing to play for!
-
You could really stretch it. On the bench - Burke, Gow, Broadfoot, Murray, McCulloch
-
What about this for a Scotland line-up next season McGregor Hutton - Weir - Webster - Smith Brown Thompson - Ferguson - Adam Boyd - Naismith Assuming we get Brown and Naismith

Wank :uzi: :moon:

Fuck off West Ham. Championship for you!!!! Arrogant fuckers - Oh we had players in the England team that won the World Cup therefore we have a God given right to be loved and be succesful. Oh and any player who ever leaves is a Judas turncoat bastard. Hate West Ham!!!
-
Hmm, he's alright but I don't think he would improve the squad. No thanks.
-
FFS! He's a young guy and instead of slaughtering him, we should be getting behind him. When will we realise that as fans our support of our players can help them improve. If we constantly get on his back, he'll piss off and continue his development elsewhere. Hutton is a prime example of someone who can develop as he gets older. He lost his way but has turned it around and is now one of our top players. Charlie has the raw ingredients and we have to let him develop. As for him hitting the top tier of the stands, he still has I think 14 goals from midfield. Albertz hit a fair few into the stand, but looking back with blue-tinted specs, they're forgotten. Van Bronckhorst wasn't blessed with pace, but he developed with us to the exyent that it wasn't a requirement in his game. Fucking support the young talent we've got. People complain that Murray Park hasn't given us any youngsters and here we have one who is our second top scorer from midfield and it isn't fucking good enough!

Heard a rumour on another site (non-football related) from a Killie fan that Walter is gonna sign Naismith and let Sebo go on loan to Killie for next season. Apparently he rates Sebo but thinks he needs more exposure to the Scottish game and isn't keen on the £1 million + that Killie want for Naismith.
-
So what's the thinking? I say, unless we sign someone spectacular to replace him then he should be our number one left midfielder next season. He may be lacking in pace, but with a pacy left back behind him (Stevie Smith) that shouldn't be a problem. His tactical and match awareness is coming on well, he delivers a decent dead ball and scores goals. I honestly think, if WS sticks with him, in a couple of years we will have a top quality left midfielder at the club.
