2 Leagues of 16, promotion/relegation from the juniors via some sort of 4 team play-off into the 2nd division. 2 up 3 down from top league with a third place decided in another playoff between 3 and 4 in 2nd div. Scrap league cup and introduce a cup between Scottish, Welsh and Irish leagues - the premiership wouldn't be interested - via some sort of invitation system excluding our European representatives. Euro spot only for winners of Scottish cup, otherwise on league placings only.

I never really rated Hargreaves till the World Cup but I thought he was outstanding. I think he'll have 2 holding players with Rooney behind the big summer centre forward - Berbatov/Owen/Whoever.

He can play LB, CB and LM but prefers LB. I think he's too good to be cover for Smith and he isn't keen on playing left mid, but I think Stevie Smith is the way forward. If he's happy to come as 2nd choice I would be happy to see him at the club. That Iranian boy was a good player, would like to see him at the club too.

He's only being signed as back up to a front pairing of Adriano and Rooney!

What I would like is to see some sort of link set up with a European team, Serie B, Second div in Spain, something like that and send the young guys out there for a season. If you sent maybe 2 or 3 at a time they would have a bit of company to settle in and gain experience and at the same time gain a more well-rounded basis about the game. Lennon could be one of those - he seems to have a fair bit of talent and this could be a way to ensure he progresses well.

To be fair, Walter has brought in Thompson with Gow and Broadfoot on their way. These three guys are young and players for the future. As for the stat about the semi finals, that really is shocking when you look at the teams that have got there.

Going on a free from Hearts and as far as I know don't have clubs yet. Both are decent players, Fyssas especially has plenty of experience. Used to the Scottish game as well. If WS decides to stick with the 4-5-1 then we have the three centre mids covered with Barry, Hemdani and Thompson, but once one of them is injured who caomes in? I think Brellier would be a good shout for this slot. As for Fyssas, he would give natural left back cover for Stevie Smith as I feel Papac still looks like a centre half being played out of position. Thoughts?
