I still think that if we can finish third in this group it'll be a great achievement especially when you look where we were when Walter took over. We can't afford to drop any points at all havibg lost two games already, but what is really encouraging is that we have won so many games already, especially ones that we have slipped up in over the last few campaigns.

It seems to me that Murray is determined not to fall into the trap of paying over the odds for players as he has done in the past. Unfortuntaely, he seems to be going to the other extreme. Naismith is easily worth more than £450k - if he wasn't, why would we be going for him. If Walter wants the guy then just go out and get him. It's not like it's the difference between £6 million or £10 million!

Thought McCulloch was for left wing. Can't see big Nigel out there. Much as I like him as a player with Ferguson, Thompson and Brahim in the middle can't see it happening - I would love him as back up but can't see him going for it.

I saw this article at the weekend. He is right in a lot of what he is saying and the reverse racism thingis ridiculous but happens all the time. My problem is that he was SFA President for however longand we didn't hear a peep out of him. What has he done in Scottish football that merits him holding such a high position at FIFA?

To be honest, an 18 yearold coming from Arsenal, I wold expect him to be comng into the first team squad. If not, then why bother?

Apparently this sort of thing is common place in Spain at the end of the season. They haven't realy done anything wrong, just encouraged teams with nothing to play for to make sure they keep their motivation up at the end of the season.

I think this could be a really good move. Hopefully it'll be doneproperly and I look forward to our younger guys going out there and developing in a flourishing league alongside the like of Beckham. Say what you like abouthim but he takes care of himself and has pride in himself as a footballer, something our youngsters can learn about.
