  1. They were saying 'Comon Boca, you are in my heart, we will forever be champions. We will always be together. Together we are too strong for all that oppose us.
  2. Yes i was :-)
  3. Another, I missed the initial few moments when the team came out. Too busy going mental.
  4. Well only have the on uploaded just know but will do the other two very soon. This is 20mins before the game, i recorded it because it's one of my favourite Boca songs. Enjoy.
  5. Wee account of the day:awesome: Well after watching us destruct Killie i was already as happy as i thought i could get. Anyway, the Boca game was kicking off at 4.10pm local, we thought it would be best to get to the stadium at least an hour and a half before kick off. Over here you have to go through a few police searches and so on. It was all a bit mental but nothing compared to what was in the stands... Eventually got into the ground without any real problems at all. I thought we were going to the La Doce stand but we actually went just below them behind the goal. My friend thought it would be a better atmosphere there and also he said the La Doce would bring many more flags than to a normal game so we'd have flags in our faces for most of the game. We had well over an hour before kick off so it gave a me a real good chance to take in as much as i could before the chaos started. By this time the stand i was in was more or less full. The colours in the ground we amazing, there was flags, lots of TIFO and the new craze for Boca fans was to make up Ghosts out of balloons to signify to River that they are gong down to Primera B. Before the game its a party, lots of singing and dancing and above the stadium a helicopter hangs above getting shots of the ground for the tv companies. Finally, the teams come out, well the refs first followed by River to a mass amount of boo's and whistles. Then Boca to the Boca entrance song (not on tanoy but by the fans) and all the paper and tifo raining down onto the pitch and the stand. Mental. By this time the stand i was in was packed to the brim, it was like sardines in a can and very old school with regards to terraces and so on. I loved it, it was hot and sweaty and we almost fell over a few times due to mass crowd movement when a chance came and when the goals were scored. But it was amazing. Boca won 2-0, river fans were pretty disapointing, this loss really hurt them as they are now just above the relegation standings and have to play teams in the relegation so for them to go down is a huge possibility now. The match itself was pretty poor, standard wise. Perhaps a bit like our game, the quality of player that was playing there 6 years ago was much better. But the atmosphere was tops, different from an OF atmosphere so it's really hard to compare. We have to stay in the ground for about 45mins after so the away fans can leave first and avoid clashes. No subway loyal in Argentina (couldn't resist a pop at them sorry). But the Fiesta continues in the ground. After my friend and i bought a Boca flag and walked around the main landmarks in the city waving the flag and taking some pics. All in all it was one of the best days of my life. Gers getting number 54 and then going to a game i've wanted to go to for the last 7/8 years. Couldnt have been better. I'll get my own vids up soon. Here's the goals though from YT. I was to the right of the goals, looks amazing when you see the crowd running down as the ball goes in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uckfpZtA8nM
  6. Velez Sarsfield are top by a point but they´ve played one game less. They are more or less the 6th biggest team in the country. The bigger teams (Boca,River,Indipendiente,Racing and San Lorenzo) haven´t been dominant for a couple of years now, infact River actually have a chance to be relegated. The relegation system here is worked out over an average of points over a couple of seasons. So the Derby is massive for them. For Boca they too are beggining to slightly flirt with relegation due to a poor few championships. It´s also Martin Palermo´s last Super classico, he´s Boca´s all time top scorer. As ever, leading up to a derby there has been some controvesy. I don´t know the full story but a fan died in a flare related incident last week so flares are banned from the game. Should still be amazing though. I´ve been to about 8 games in Argentina and never really felt unsafe and i always stand just to the side of the hardcores. Have seen some ugly scenes as well, fighting in the stands and so on. Truth is it actually is quite a small minority that do this stuff. I´ll post a wee report after the match.
  7. I don´t think this problem will ever go away. We will always struggle to In the case of with the EPL teams. In the case of Jelavic, well i hope this isn´t true. Having recently played in Australia a couple of leagues below A league, clubs handle transfers in a slightly different manner. They are aware that players may move on but make sure they get a guarantee of a couple of seasons out of them before letting them move on with thier blessing. Might be worth looking at? I mean if we are going to sign a foreigner the question should be asked before signing him, just like any employer would do in an interview. What are your future plans and ambitions? Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?? Is it at Rangers?? Try and get an idea of what the players wants and that way the club can assist in this, providing we get a respectable service from that player. Example, sign a player on a 4 year deal but have it written into the deal that a minimum of 2 years playing must be completed before a transfer can be brought up(unless he´s gash). This way the player gets the security of the contract and the club gets more than a season out of the player and with 2 years remaining on the contract and the value most probebly going up, all parties can be kept happyish. Every so often we will get a Bougy type player who has given us good service and im sure could have left after only playing with us for a year but these types are few and far between.

  9. Game is this sunday at 8pm UK time. I got a ticket:) Currently living here in BA at the moment with the Mrs. So Will watch us get 3IAR then go to the Super classico. Can´t wait, been wanting to go to this derby for years. I´ll take some vids and get them on you tube and link them to here for those that will have any interest. :boogie:
  10. Got exactly what was coming to him. Look, im glad it wasn´t a knife or one of these bombs but lets face it, he got a slap and if it wasn´t at the stadium then pretty high chance it would have happened in the street. He brings it all on himself and perhaps now he might take a long hard look at himself and discover what a horrible rat of a man he is. This has been brewing all season. I don´t buy into this crap about ´being able to go to your work place and be safe´. In everyday to day jobs then sure, of course. But this is FOOTBALL, something that really tugs on the emotions of everyone that loves it. Emotions boil over, not an excuse but a fact. Lennon is no stranger to life up here, he knows exactly how things work yet he still acts and plays like a complete twat. If you are going to continuesly wind up oppo fans and players then you reap what u sow.
  11. P.S he still has his best years ahead of him. Also ask yourselves where we would have been without Goram and Klos who gave us years of amazing service and were both massive parts to why we won countless titles. Sometimes you have to push the boat out.
  12. Mcgregor is worth his weight in gold. If he hadn´t saved that penalty then we wouldn´t be in the driving seat for 3IAR. I´ve said previously, he´s the only member of the current playing squad that has consistantly played outstandingly and gotten better for the past 3 years. He´s a measuring stick for the rest of the players. 25k seems more than fair to me...
  13. This has REALLY pissed me off. UEFA, go and FCUK yourself you bunch of scum bag CHUNTS. How about sorting out REAL problems I.E violence in countries such as Italy, Turkey and Eastern european countries. Also the match fixing scandals that are rife in Greece and tarnishing the game of football in europe. UEFA, you are a fCUKing joke, piss off and go FCUK yourself you worthless pieces of shit. Excuse me everyone but i´ve had it up to here with these twats bullying our club and us, the fans.
  14. He has constantly gotten better throughout the years, guys like Lafferty, Davis, Edu and Whittaker need to take note. How lucky have we been throughout the years? Woods, the Goalie, Niemi, Charbonnier, der Goalie, Big Ron and now Shagger. Players hold the cards these days, if he wanted to manufacture a move away I think it would have been done by now. He's enjoying winning titles at the best club in the world so why would he leave? Go on Shagger.
  15. Keepers very rarely get as much credit as out fielders. Suffered from this way of thinking for years myself;)
  16. Huh? Could have sworn I saw his name listed as a sub??
  17. Great news. Last time I was at Ibrox (dec 09)I was in the BO section. Although u can clearly see what is trying to be achieved, what is lacking is numbers. If we could get an 'ultras' section of around 3000 then Ibrox would be much better off. Good luck.
  18. Missed Jig in my opinion. I know one thing, that wee fanny Brown wouldn't have been strolling around midfield like he has been in recent games. There's been no bite in our midfield since Lee got injured. Ness is a ball player, edu a headless chicken, no one has been doing the dirty work for us in the middle of the park for me so sooner Jig is back the better.
  19. Thanks mate, PM it too me please.
  20. Anyone that can help? Cheers:uk:
  21. It's been going on for a while now, blaming refs, appealing decisions on bans, doing stupid banners...we all know what is going on. Even down to the intimidation on certain of our players. This so called football club have been persistent with these tactics for a while now and it's beginning to bear fruit. I don't hear them complaining on referee's now do you? Infact the whole ineptness of the SFA's system has benefited Sellik. Lemmon should be serving a suspension in the stands yet his appeal process has been allowed to go on for months. In this time he's been able to influence his players in 3 Old firm matches. Of course he was involved in ugly scenes the other night. EHD gets a booking for a confrontation with Lemmon but Lemmon doesn't even get sent to the stand? So the ref bottled it? Or are these tactics Septic have been employing against the whole of Scottish football starting to work? Do the refs feel a little more obliged to 'cut them some slack'? It's something to think about... I had a heated discussion with a timmy friend of mine at football training last night. He came in giving me stick as you'd expect, fair enough. He then started saying what a C*** EHD is and how he can't believe we signed him. My response...'we may have a C*** of a bloke playing for us but at least we don't have a C*** of a bloke managing us'. So maybe that's what it is coming down too, we have to start with the intimidation? We have them next at Ibrox so why the hell not. Do what you can to win right??? Start picking targets, pick out Brown, kayel and all these other so called little w@nkers that reckon they are hard men and just really really wind them up. Along with our crowd, they'll crack. Don't call it 'The Celtic way' cause it is nothing to do with it. I've played competitive football for years and you do whatever u can to get an edge over your opposition on the pitch. They've been doing it and it's worked but you'd hope we've learned that by now in time for the next Derby? I really hope so... WATP
  22. Haha, beat me to it mate, getting slow in my old age ;-)
  23. Highlights http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/sporting-lisbon-rangers-8592316/
  24. Edu was shocking, wanted too much time on the ball and wanted about 3 or 4 touches every time he got it. Can't have that at this level edu. Bartley was hindered by his early booking,I didn't think Naismith played THAT bad but when we went a goal down him and EHJ just got pinned back deeper an deeper. As for Davis,he just didn't impose himself on the game at all, needs to have a look at himself, perhaps drop him for a bit cause he just isn't delivering. Where was Ness?Injured? Really missed his eagerness IMO.
  25. Wasn't his day, pure and simple. I think we've got a class player on Jela but just didn't go his way today. He certainly wasn't the worst culprit...
