Looks like we are also in the hunt for Australian international midfielder Mile Jedinak (freebie) according to Sky. Here's hope.

Skysports.com understands that Rangers are interested in Australia international Mile Jedinak.

New Gers boss Ally McCoist is keen to freshen up his squad on a limited budget after taking the reins from Walter Smith. Jedinak is available on a free transfer after leaving Turkish club Genclerbirligi earlier this summer.

Championship side Crystal Palace are also keen on the 26-year-old midfielder but Rangers are leading the race.

The Scottish champions are believed to have expressed an interest in the 26-cap international, who shone as Australia reached the final of the Asian Cup in January.

Jedinak left the Central Coast Mariners for Turkey in January 2009 and upon leaving Genclerbirligi has said he was eager to test himself in one of Europe's bigger leagues

BOLTON and QPR are both on the trail of Motherwell’s Ã?£700,000-rated star Jamie Murphy who is also on Rangers radar.

Express Sport also understands that Jamie Murphy and Motherwell boss Stuart McCall are aware of 'serious' interest from the Premiership pair as well as several Championship clubs.

Bolton boss Owen Coyle knows the Scotland under-21 striker from his own time north of the border and views him as a good long-term prospect.

Newly-promoted QPR are also monitoring the situation with McCall's former boss, Neil Warnock, now in charge at Loftus Road.

Championship sides Leicester City and Crystal Palace are also in the mix for his signature , although Murphy's preference would be to head to the top-flight.

Rangers boss Ally McCoist is known to rate the Well star highly- although his top option remains Dundee United's David Goodwillie if a deal can be done.
