Both Senderos & Garner were last minute panic signings before the transfer window closed last august.

 

It was the beginning of the end of the Warburton era.

Hill has had a decent season but it makes sense to let him go and get someone younger (even by a few years) in. Meanwhile Senderos never really looked capable and was a wasteful signing.

 

Add in the two loan players returning to their clubs that should free up some decent wages for new signings.
